I am flying into nice airport and want to get local bus to villefranche sur mer, is there is a bus stop in the airport i use, and how will i know when i need to get off the bus as i speak no french and have not been to the area before.

How does one get from the station to the road that runs down along the harbor? Is it a tough descent? Are there stairs or something? I cannot seem to get Google to explain the route to me!

We will be dragging suitcases...just want to be ready!

We are staying in Villefranche-sur-mer during Grand Prix 2014. I have heard that not all trains stop at Villefranche on the way to Monaco during Grand Prix due to the crowds - is this correct? Any information on which trains do stop in Villefranche would be appreciated.

Will be sightseeing for the day in Villefranche before joining our cruise at 5pm.

Does anyone know if there is a left luggage facility? (nice airport no good in this case)

Are there car rentals available at the cruise terminal at Villafranche?

My husband and I are taking a cruise and we dock in Monaco. We would like to see some of Monaco, but really want to visit Villefranche as my husband was home ported in VF when he was in the Navy. We dock at 8:00 am in Monaco and depart at 8:00 pm. What would be the best way to accomplish this taxi, train or bus? Is there a terminal for bus or train near the port where the ship docks in Monaco?

Our cruise ship arrives in Villefranche-sur-Mer around 9:00 am and departs at 10:00 pm. We would like to rent a car for the day to go to Cannes, then back to Nice, and then on to Monte Carlo before returning to the ship. Where would we rent a car for the day?

I have looked at the car rental sites, however they don't have a pick-up area that I can find close by. Any thoughts or help is appreciated.

My family and I will be arriving by cruise ship in Villefranche sur Mer at 9 am and departing at 9 pm. We would like to rent bikes and ride to Monaco via Cap Ferat and return to Villefranche sur Mer. How long will that take us to bike? Are there any cafes or sights along the way that should not be missed?

We will be ariving by cruise ship to Villafranche sur mer 22 Aug around lunch time. Our ship departs at 21:00. We would like to visit Monte Carlo,Nice and if time between to visit Eze village.
We are 2 adults and 4 kids. Do you have any information on taxi (maybe taxi/minibus) to drive us from Port to Monte Carlo via Eze or just to drive us to Monte Carlo? Do you also have an idea how much this will appx cost?

Going to Villefranche this Thursday (10th May) - My idea of transfer from Nice airport to Villefranche would simply be to get a bus from the airport to the train station in Nice and then get a train to Villefranche (our apartment is only a short walk from Villefranche station).However it seems there are different ways of doing this journey. A taxi is out because they are far too expensive.

I will be arriving by cruise to Villefranche on July 30th at 7am. I would like to go by bus or train to Montecarlo/Monaco departing the port at 8:00am. Around 10:30am I would like to go to Eze (old town). Around 1pm I would like to go to Nice (old town). Finally around 5:30pm I would like to go back to the port at Villefranche. Could you please tell me where can I catch each bus/train? The bus number for each route? the schedule? and the cost?
