Need to get from Fort Worth Texas to SE Arizona early March with probably 1 overnight stop but want to break up the driving into maybe approx. 4 hour stretches. Any suggestions for "must see" locations? Would prefer to avoid too much Interstate driving but conscious I am travelling alone so not wishing to go too far off track. My preferences are for scenery, science and nature as opposed to cities and shopping. Clean budget motel about half way?

I am taking a cruise from San Pedro in October 2017. I can get a direct flight from BWI to LAX on Alaska Air. But I can't get a direct flight back. All the flights to BWI require a plane change in some place like Dallas, Chicago or Philly. Would I have better luck flying out of San Diego or San Francisco? Are there any direct flights on any airline from anywhere in California to BWI?
I'm going to Kauai the beginning of May, and am comparing airfares now. How far out from the trip should I book in order to get the cheapest airfare ? I'm flying from the east coast. Thanks !
I will be in New York dec 22nd to 29th. Which are the best markets to visit. Im not bothered about xmas markets particularly as ive been to Bryant park and Colombus Square before. Im more interested in ordinary antique/ flea markets etc. Thanks.
HI. I will be visiting New York dec 22nd to 29th and would like to have a day/ half day in New Jersey. My question is which is the best place to go. Just want to have a walk around, do a bit of shopping and have a meal. Also how do you recommend I get there? Don't mind taking the bus or boat but which is the most practical? Thanks.
Looking for a nice resturaunt in NYC, looking for a nice art deco style one,or,was thinking of have having a meal in the empire state building,(hoping with a view) but no matter where i have searched,i have not found a sight which tells me what floor it is on,hoping for a high up floor. Not going till march,so plenty of time for research.
I want to take my two nieces, ages 18 and 13, to someplace "up north" in the USA to see snow over the Christmas break. I have skied in years past but no more. And the girls have never skied. So that is not an activity to consider. Just want to fly into a decent main stream airport and not have to drive too far to get to perhaps a ski resort where even if there is no real snow, we will still have the artificial fluff. :-) Vermont offers some darling villages with covered bridges but those are about 2 hours from any airport. Perhaps that will be the case with any of the "guaranteed" snow areas.......a bit of a drive from an airport. So, I am relying on my team of VT experts to point me in the right direction. I am thinking 3-4 nights at a hotel / resort. I don't mind driving. Just don't want to spend much of the vacation behind the wheel. Snow boarding, taking cable cars to the top of a mountain, sledding, horse drawn carriage rides........bring 'em on.
Have thought of Vermont, Maine, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire, New York etc
Needed some suggestions on a 7 day “Photography” road trip from Vegas to Denver during the Christmas/New Year week. 2 of us will be reaching Las Vegas on Sat evening (24th)around 7 PM and have a return flight from Denver on Sun morning (1st) 1 AM.
Keeping in mind that it will be winter time, I have listed down some key places which I would like to visit, all open to change though (in the order from Vegas to Denver). My primary interest is Photography (Nature, Wildlife, Sunrise/Sunsets, Star trails, Milky Way etc). Please let me know the most scenic and feasible routes to cover during my trip and which are the must have places that I should visit.

Hello! We are visiting Hawaii for the first time and I am having some logistics problems !
I have booked 5 nights at Disney's Aulani Resort on O'ahu... had too do that part first,
rooms were disappearing. My question is:
- Kauai before or after O'ahu?
- Can we fly into Honolulu...then jump over to Kauai ( Hawaiin Air?) then fly directly
back home from there, Kauai - Chicago? Is there a better/cheaper way to do this?
- Most popular area of Kauai to stay in? East , West, North, or South? for walkability,
restaurants, beaches, etc?
Any other tips?
Can anybody kindly guide me by replying to the following queries about trip to Niagara Falls ?
We 5 adults like to visit Niagara Falls while touring USA during middle of May/June.
Which will be better choice for the Niagara trip, New York or Washington by public transport train or flight ?
How to reach the falls from the nearest airport or train station ? Any regular bus or others ?
What may be the activity there, any specific ride at the falls ?
We like to fly back to Indianapolis or Chicago on return from Niagara.
Any suitable internet link you may suggest for route, fare or stay.

Hi, we're going to the strip Las Vegas on Dec 26 and have been considering to stay in the Marriott chain - those low-cost hotels that are ~1mile away from the strip. But during our search, we stumbled upon Excalibur and Luxor hotels which have much lower hotel rates (i.e. Marriott = 103, Excalibur = 77). Now we're curious to know if there's any catch since these hotels are down at the strip itself.
Also, since we plan to get a car rental, may we ask how much is the going rate for the parking in these hotels? Hope it won't be a fortune though :)
Thank you.. :)

I am planning flights and found one with Alaska Airlines arriving at Terminal 6 - with a 90 minute wait for another flight with QANTAS departing from Tom Bradley Terminal - do you think this is doable? or should more time be allowed between flights
Are Alaska Airlines usually on time?
Both flights will be international flights
I will be going for the first time in SFO on the third week of December before I head to LA. I was going to go with my sibling but ended up now going solo.
I just thought if anyone of you who lives in SFO, and is free, could show me around? Nothing better than having a good company by a local. I decided not to take any summer classes at Uni (currently studying Law) - so I am looking forward to a memorable summer holiday in the USA.
Will be in SFO from 16-19 December 2016. Please let me know :) 32yo; male; traveller; sensible person here.
Regards from the Land Down Under :)
My wife and I are flying to Las Vegas in March 2017. we are then hiring a car and driving to San Francisco with two stop offs in Death Valley and Yosemite.
Is there going to be issues with routes and will we require snow chains?
Do hire companies provide snow chains?

We are a German/Dutch family (kids aged 13 & 9) and plan to visit the US east coast this summer. And we need some help from the real experts! What we already know is that we arrive in 23rd August around 3pm and leave Sept 8th in the evening – fly in fly out Newark.
Our plan is to relax the first few days at a beach, then to head inlands to explore some nature (hiking but incl. some fun stuff for the kids such as river rafting etc. to keep them motivated). We would like to visit 2 cities – one is definitely NYC – I thought it may be wise to visit NYC the 4 days before we leave.
I am a bit uncertain if we should do the (1) New England route including NH and Boston or rather the (2) NJ, West Virginia tour incl. Washington D.C.?
Route 1 would be:
- 2-3 days Connecticut / Rhode Island beach, 2-3 hrs from Newark (Wednesday afternoon)?
- 3-4 days “nature adventure”: hiking and whitewater rafting: MA, NH or Vermont? Deerfield River?
- 2 days Boston
- 1-3 days: no plan / open
- 4 days NYC
Route 2 would be:
- 2-3 days NJ shore, 2-3 hrs from Newark (Wednesday afternoon) – could we make Cape May? Liked the pics I saw on the internet
- 2 days Washington D.C.
- 3-4 days “nature adventure”: New River Gorge – worth the trip of 8+h?
- 1-3 days: no plan / open
- 4 days NYC
Which route would you prefer?
I know …. a lot of questions…… I would be very grateful for your help. Two additional questions:
- is the weather very different in NH (assuming we will not head really north) and NJ or West Virginia?
- And what about Greenheads? Is it high season for these monsters?
Thanks a lot from Munich!
Hi, I'm travelling to Phoenix for the first time. I'm a 36 year old professional woman wanting to meet people. Where would be the best place to stay or hang out in the area?
