    • Flamenco shops & Parking

      Sevilla Oct 1, 2016 at 1:27 AM

Where is the nearest place on non-metered parking near the cathedral please - we parked a 20 minute walk on the outskirts of town by the metro down from the Alcatraz and saw one large church but not the cathedral and missed out on a lot of the barrie gothic

When we were walking down from the large church keeping straight we went into a large shop selling shawls and beautiful fans - they gave me a dark green carrier bag - my friend is into salsa/tango dancing and I would like to get some reasonably priced fans - any suggestions please

Really looking forward to going back to this lovely city - planning to go Mid Nov Many thanks

    • Best Place to go

      Nerja Sep 25, 2016 at 12:49 PM

Hii Everyone, I am new to this and did post a question yesterday and now I cant find it, lol, so Im going to try husband and I will be travelling from Canada in June 2017 and thought I had found a great place to go and now am having second thoughts.....I had planned on us staying in Nerja but I have come across so much negative talk with regards to a "sewage" problem....any comments or suggestions? Ideally the location we stay in will be a smaller city/town with easy access to beaches/shops/restaurants.....preferably that allows us to experience the spanish culture with modern conveniences....

    • Long term rental for this winter

      Cadiz Oct 6, 2016 at 8:04 AM

My husband and I are planning to spent the winter in Costa de La Luz. We are looking to rent a studio/appartment/ small house ( one bedroom, living room, kitchen) for approximatively 2 or 3 months (from December till March),what kind of a price would I be looking at? I would be curious to know if anybody could recommend sites or resources to view (cheap) rental listings and if possible to get in touch directly with owners.

      Riding Anadlusian horses

by Migsatron Online Now Jan 2, 2016 at 6:08 AM

I am looking for a place to ride whilst on holiday in May-June 2016 near Torrox. I wish to ride an Andalusian horse being an experienced rider and to trek around the area particularly the mountains and country. I have found a couple via a web search but am not sure how reputable they are. Any information or advice would be appreciated.

by Mojo70 Online Now Jun 24, 2014 at 11:34 AM

Hi, my husband and I have been planning to move to Spain for quite a number of years now and have finally plucked up the courage, money and kids grown up and flew the nest so we feel the time is right, I was wondering if there is anyone or anyone who knows anyone who has a villa to rent long term please
Is anyone living there suggest the best areas to look etc.
What is a rough estimate of gas, electric, water etc
      Thank you in advance

    • moving to Torrox/Costa/Park

by katekordzinski Online Now Jul 3, 2012 at 11:31 AM

My husband and I know Torrox well and have travelled there on many occasions although we havent been within recent years. We now have two young boys (5 and 3) and have been talking about maybe relocating there from the UK. Can anyone give us advice on schools, accommodation and general living in Torrox, Torrox Costa and Torrox Park. All advice and information would be welcomed. We have visited on many occasions in the past but as a couple and on holidays and would like an insight into living there and with two young English boys. Would they manage at school etc? We are looking for a new life, better weather and a more family orientated environment for our boys to grow up in. All information would be appreciated-good and bad, pros and cons.

    • Explore Torrox and sourroundings-hotel/flat

by LittOmAlt Online Now Aug 25, 2009 at 5:38 AM

Im going to Torrox alone, wife home this time :-)
Im doing this for reserch, find a house to buy, and what i would like to ask is:
      1) Can someone recomend a flat/room in city (5 km north from the sea) I could rent?
      2) Or a nice hotel in torrox center.

The reason for this question is that i don't manage to find hotels in the center, all i find on net is big hotels near the sea, and not in torrox center.

Google map reference for center aerea:

Thanks in advance to all of you.

      Hotel or Villa

by Kristymamoo Online Now Jun 17, 2008 at 9:05 AM

Hi, I am looking for a hotel or villa in the Torrox area for the last two weeks in August. We do have family in the area and they have always sorted acomodation for us but this is to be a surprise visit!! Any information on how and where to book would be welcome. We would require 2 bedrooms (to sleep 2 adults and 2 children) and a pool - a communal pool would be preferable for the children.

      Thanks in advance, Kristy :-)

i am thinking of going to Torrox on March 13th for 7 nights. Hopefully will be staying at the Riu Ferrara. Do you think it is better to do self catering or the half board option? I wondered if there were many bars or restaurants to eat out at?
Also the important thing is the weather? What is it like in March?

      Thank you,
      Stacey xxx

    • From Malaga Airport to Torrox

by bluejeans101 Online Now Aug 13, 2003 at 8:18 AM

We are going to Torrox from Malaga Airport soon. How do we get there? Are there many stops? And what does the trip costs? I worry that is is very complicated.
