    • Best time to visit

      Prague 2 hours ago

I am planning to visit Prague, Vienna & Bratislava during the second half of March 2017.

I would be travelling with my wife and 18 month old baby.

Please advise if this is a good time to be visiting these places. If not, what would be the best time to visit.

Thank you in advance for your opinion.

    • Any Janak Family in Ticha

by ljtexas Online Now Jan 11, 2010 at 10:59 AM

I am a decendant of the Janak family that immigrated to Texas in 1884. I would like to establish a communications relationship with any Janak living in Ticha to share questions or comments about your village and its History. My Grandfather was Frank Janak who passed away in 1963. I now live near Austin, Texas and would welcome hearing from anyone interested in sharing our heritage. Once you reply and can share more personal information such as our names, ages, etc. Please contact me direct at

    • Looking for family in Ticha & surrounding areas

by texashello Online Now Jan 24, 2005 at 10:42 AM

I am a descendent of the Ondrej Janak family -- who lived in Ticha, Moravia many years ago. My great great grandfather is Frank Janak who moved to Texas in the early 1800's. The house -- #108 supposedly still stands and is located in an area called Buben. Does anyone know where this is or if the house is still there? Even better -- does anyone know people living in it? Many thanks!
