      Ski Pass & Equipment

by peter1965 Online Now Dec 27, 2016 at 8:23 AM

Family of 4 skiing for the February 2017 half term week.
What is the best option for booking the lift pass and equipment? Is it better / cheaper to book in advance or when we arrive? Any suggested web sites with the best discounts or is it all a standard price?
      Thanks Peter

      Private ski lessons

by peter1965 Online Now Dec 27, 2016 at 8:20 AM

We are in Soldeu for the February half term week (2 adults and 2 children . 9 & 11). We can all ski to a reasonable beginners standard (green and easier blue runs).
We want to have 2 or 3 sessions of private lessons (1 or 2 hours long each) as a family. Is the only option to book with the official ski school? OR are there any local guides that would do this for a better price that we could book in advance? Any recommendations gratefully received?
      Thanks - Peter

I am looking for the best deal for a group of five in Soldeu, all total beginners.
Anyone know the price is a ski pass for Soldeu? Is there a reduced pass available for Soldeu for beginners covering only the nursery slopes?
Is it cheaper for a group of five to book group lessons rather than join ski school.

Just wanted to post this to let anyone know if they are thinking about going skiing in Soldeu, Go!! Missed this year, but we have been their loads of times and enjoyed the skiing and the nightlife is brilliant. The ski instructors all speak english and very friendly, we had a nice chap called Graham, he worked in one of the shops (supermarket/ski shop) and was very helpful when we bought our boots. We will definately book for next year.

by andywing Online Now Nov 22, 2003 at 7:21 AM

We've booked to go skiing again in Soldeu, it's great! I just wanted to know if it is cheaper to hire skis+boots and get a lift pass in the resort or book them with the travel agent in advance? Thomson's prices (for one week from Jan 18) are: Lift Pass (low season Jan) £98 (140 euro) Skis £36 (52 euro) Boots £15 (21 euro) TOTAL £149 (213 euro) Any help would be apperciated. Best wishes, Andy
