For those who are quite familiar with the country of Iceland, I am planning a trip to Iceland in March and had questions regarding a one-day itinerary of mine. I had hoped to use one day to go through the Golden Circle while using the 2nd half to go through the southern part of the country. Since I will be visiting in March, I believe the sun will be up for about 11 hours (9am-7pm) so I wanted to see what thoughts are regarding this itinerary:
Start @ 8am:
-Path to Plane Wreck
-Black Sand Beach
End around 7-8pm
Trying to finalize plans for a shortish trip in June. Looks like it's going to be Iceland. We'll have 9 days on the ground excluding travel days and plan to drive Ring Road. I'm very early in my research and am trying to figure where we'll spend each night. We want to see whatever wildlife we can - whales, puffins, etc. Any help would be appreciated!
