For those who are quite familiar with the country of Iceland, I am planning a trip to Iceland in March and had questions regarding a one-day itinerary of mine. I had hoped to use one day to go through the Golden Circle while using the 2nd half to go through the southern part of the country. Since I will be visiting in March, I believe the sun will be up for about 11 hours (9am-7pm) so I wanted to see what thoughts are regarding this itinerary:
Start @ 8am:
-Path to Plane Wreck
-Black Sand Beach
End around 7-8pm
My husband and I are planning to visit Iceland just for a few days (5-7) in march. Can someone please advise what can we visit/see during our short stay. We would love to see Northern lights if possible. I was thinking to stay in Reykjavik for a couple of nights and then perhaps somewhere else for a few nights?
Any advice would be appreciated.
