    • Best Area to be based to Tour Chania ?

      Chania 1 hours ago

HI 5 Girls are coming to Chania next summer and I'm trying to search were to base them.
I don't want them driving as they are young, and I prefer they get ferries or boats to go to
Balos Beach, Elafonissi , and wherever else they want. Is chania the only place to be based for no Transport ?
They will go clubbing to PLatanias and Agai Marina. Is transport to and from there easy at Night ?

      Thanks

    • Thessaloniki to Istanbul

      Greece Nov 26, 2016 at 3:29 AM

Hey, I live in Thessaloniki as an Erasmus-student and I'm going on a trip to Istanbul in the second week of Christmas break. What is the best (and cheapest) way to go there? I found some websites with a night train, which seems perfect for me, but I can't find the prizes anywhere and neither do I know where I can buy the tickets (just at the normal train station of Thessaloniki? Or that special international train ticket store at Plateia Aristotelous?). Can anyone help me out? A bus is also okay, if that's the only other option, but then again I'd prefer a nightbus so it won't cost me any valuable time on travelling.

      Weather in October

Agios Nikolaos Sep 17, 2014 at 5:40 PM

Never been to Greece before and thinking of a late season holiday in Ag Nik mid-October. What kind of temperatures can we expect? Will jackets/coats be needed in the evening if out for a meal?

    • Help me - in need of a day party place?

Agios Nikolaos Jul 22, 2014 at 5:54 AM

Hi all, I was wondering if you could help me. My friend is having her wedding in Crete at the end of the summer, we are staying in Agios Nikolaos and we would like to have a 'hen' party for her. We do not want anything 'tacky', a place that is sophisticated like Ocean Club, Blue Marlin, Nikki Beach - them sort of places. Is there anything like this around this area, we do not mind travelling. Thanks so much!

      car in Ag Nik

Agios Nikolaos Feb 17, 2007 at 5:35 PM

      Hi folks,

Im travelling to Ag Nik in april with the family. I'd like to have a car for a couple of days, so we can see a part of Crete at our own pace. Any good advice on car rentals? Not much to find on VT on that subject (car rental in Ag Nik) just one tip on Economy, which is absolutely to be avoided.
So, anyone good or bad experiences?
      Thanks
