by Induc Online Now Jul 4, 2016 at 12:42 AM

I am planning a trip around 22 Nov this year to Krabi. Then I wish to travel to Phuket by bus. I presume Phang Nga Bay is midway between Krabi and Phuket. Is it possible to take a morning bus from Krabi and stop at Phang Nga Bay. Finish visit to James Bond Island and then take later bus to Phuket.

Also last week of November, there will be no rains or cyclones in that area.

      Where to stay...

by walkietalkie2012 Online Now Dec 18, 2015 at 10:33 AM

First time to Phuket.. coming during the long x'mas weekend next week.. will be there for four days.. wondering whether to stay in Kata, Karon or Patong.. been reading up a bit.. general consensus it that Patong (and Karon) is very commercialised, over-rated, tourist trap, and so on.. initial inclination is to stay at Patong to see what the fuss is all about.. would definitely do some day trips or island hopping to phi phi or james bond island so won't be trapped in Patong for the whole four days...

I was in Bali a month ago for a few days and really enjoyed the quieter Seminyak area and the beach even though its pretty touristy.. but worried being peak period Patong might not cut it... any thoughts are welcomed.. thanks.

    • Places to see from Phuket - 20 day holiday

by AmandaHW Online Now Sep 26, 2015 at 5:11 PM

      Hi there!
My fiancé and I are going to be visiting Phuket for the first time in late Jan for our wedding and honeymoon. We are staying in Kamala for 10 days then we have 10 days unplanned at this point. We were thinking of staying around Phuket as we don't want to spend a lot of time traveling around or trying to do/see too much. The main thing is to have a relaxing holiday- snorkelling, privacy, some sightseeing, chilling out, scenic views- but equally we don't want to miss out on any 'must sees'! There's just so much to choose from and we can't do them all (without exhausting ourselves)!
We definitely plan to see Phang Nga Bay but other than that, we were thinking : Koh Lanta, Krabi, Koh Racha, Ko Yao Noi/Yai, khao lak, Similan Islands, James Bond Island Tour?
We were considering splitting the last 10 days between two places such as Krabi and Khao Lak? Or is that too much traveling? Or should we just stay in one place for the rest of the 10 days? Maybe a place that is convenient to do some of the trips on our short list? Would Cape Panwa or the east coast of Phuket be a good choice?
Thank you so much for your answers in advance!
