Hello, i'm going with A friend to Koh lipe in september (7▶️20), Do you know any good hotel in Koh Lipe?the Castaway looks nice. I read that September was not a very good time to travel, but you know if it rains all day? And september is in low season so all the businesses are closed? they are other things to do exept diving and stay on the beach? can we discover the islands around?
Thanks to your answers
Looking to visit Chiang Mai around Dec 30, 2016 - Jan 4, 2017. Can you advise if the Weekend Markets (Saturday & Sunday) will be open that weekend due to New Years Eve National Holiday? Am guessing that the Night Bazar will be open on Fri night Dec 30.
Could you also advise if most of the shops & stores would also be open over the New Years weekend?
I would like peoples opinion about their personal experience in aquarium dive at pattaya underwater world or siam sealife ocean world in bangkok.
I'm thinking of making a booking for either one of the dive, but not sure which is better.
sealife ocean world at 6600baht whiles underwater world at 3500baht.

Does anyone know when the famous lanternfestival in Chiang mai is? Me and a friend want to visit it in November this year. We read there is also a Festival just for tourists there, but we want to see the traditional and not the one for which we have to pay.
It would be perfect, if someone could help us.
Thanks and sorry for my bad english ;)
Nice greets, Eve
I, my husband and 75 years old my mum will travel to Krabi (Aonang) end of this month. Due to my mum's age, we plan to take a cab to and from airport, and also need a round trip car transfer from Aonang to Krabi town on the next day.
Understand from website that they charge B$600 for 1 airport transfer and B$500/car for Aonang-krabi town. Can anyone suggest a reliable driver who can offer a better price? Add up S$600x2 + B$500x2 will be more expensive than my accommodation expense :-(

Hi Everyone, am travelling with my family to see Thailand in 2017. I am planning my days around as well as tour guides and all.
I am mostly interested in Temples and historical sites, not shows, classes, city or markets. :) no offence.
Can you guys tell me if i spend a day each in Bangkok, Ayutthaya and Chiang Mai, is that enough time to see the temples? :) so confusing and I'm a planner so i want to make sure i dont miss anything.
I am leaving for Thailand Sept 7. My original plan to explore Thailand in Sept then head to Maylasia in October however my plans are extremely fluid. Since I will be traveling alone I am somewhat concerned about safety especially with certain recent events if anyone could share a little knowledge or even some better insight into what's going on that would be great. Also any ideas as far as unique "non-tourist" stops I would really like to get off the beaten path and explore. Thank you!
