    • Is walking safe?

      Toronto Sep 24, 2016 at 5:52 AM

In town on business with evenings off. Scored a couple tickets to the ball games this week. Is it safe to walk back to my hotel...the Sheraton...after the game?

    • Cheap long term car rental

      Toronto Oct 3, 2016 at 8:39 AM

Hi, i am an australian traveler here for 6 months. I have a international drivers permit and am looking to hire a car for the 4 months that i am here (buying a car is not an option). I am 21 years old with a full australian drivers license. Anyone have any idea what the cheapest company would be? The major ones like avis, enterprise and budget are way too expensive because of my age and many others simply dont have deals for 21 year olds.

      Thankyou for your time!

Can anyone gives me some tips to how to get to Niagara Falls from Rochester NY? I was wondering about where to park, and where to walk around for a day trip to Niagara Falls. My family and I plan to take a day trip there, and I have never driven on the Canada. Any other trip recommendations are welcome! :)

      Thank you!

by SusanaA Online Now Jun 6, 2016 at 5:31 AM

I am looking for a half-day tour from Toronto to visit Niagara Falls. I am aware that most tours take full day as they also visit wineries, and leave plenty of time at the falls; but my time there is very limited and I need to be at Toronto Airport from 6pm that same day.

      Thank you for your answers.

by EuroDeb Online Now Jan 22, 2016 at 5:45 AM

My husband and I will be staying in Toronto for 3 days in June 2016. We would like to make a day trip to Niagara Falls but, as we don't have a car and we prefer not to hire one, we wondered what would be the best way to do the trip. We are happy to use public transport if that is a feasible option. Otherwise, we would do a tour but would like some recommendations on what company to use.

We are flying into Buffalo airport going to Niagara falls Canada side and was wondering what would be the best transport from the airport? Also what is the procedure when crossing the border into Canada, are you pulled over in your vehicle or do you have to enter a building? Do you know how strict and how long it takes to go through? Thank you :)

My husband and I are visiting Ontario for 3 weeks in October 2015. Our first place to visit is Niagara Falls to renew our wedding vows, I know rather silly but just something we want to do....hahahaha. It will only be us two and was looking for someone to take a few pictures of the occasion. Been looking at websites and we don't wish to pay the silly $1000+ prices.
Does anyone know anyone who can help?

We are also going to Coe Hill, Ottawa and Mississauga areas and looking for any suggestions for good flea markets.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

      Niagra Falls near by attractions

by alexloves2travel Online Now Mar 22, 2015 at 1:05 PM

We are visiting Niagara falls the first weekend of April. As many of the Niagara falls amenities will not be open due to seasonal timing while we are there, we were hoping to take a few day trips to near by areas, kind of get a feel for Canada itself! If anyone has any suggestions as to some scenic or recommended areas to visit within reasonable driving distance to niagara falls, would appreciate any input!:)

Short 3 night stay - Looking to do/see as much as possible!

by alexloves2travel Online Now Jan 26, 2015 at 5:44 PM

We are looking to visit Niagara Falls for a short 4day/3 night weekend. We would be able to visit during either early March or early April. We would be driving from northeast Ohio. Does anyone have any recommendations on inexpensive centrally located hotels. We would like to see as much as possible in the short period of time and hopefully do some non touristy things as well. We are in our early 20's, not so much into the bar scene but are seeking more of the Falls and scenic areas. Any input would be great, Thank you!

      Anyone done the Adventure Pass?

by mickey.p Online Now Aug 8, 2014 at 1:09 PM

Hi, I am visiting Niagara Falls for 27 hours (ish) at the end of August, it is a flying visit at the end of a 2 week holiday and as we have been before (in Winter) and made the most of Clifton Hill and all it's tackiness we are wanting to see an unfrozen Niagara Falls!

We were going to do the Maid of the mist/Hornblower trip but then someone suggested the Adventure Pass that includes Hornblower Niagara Cruises (new Niagara Falls boat tour), Journey Behind the Falls, Niagara's Fury and White Water Walk. I know little about any of these and just wondered if anyone could advise?

I will be in Niagara on 31st August from about 1-2pm (travelling from Toronto Centre after a weekend at the Ex and Comicon Event) I would think and we fly home to the UK on 1st September at 10.30pm so I would think we would leave around 5pm.

Does anyone know anything of these tours etc and how long we should allow for them?

    • Pedestrian Exit at U.S. side of Rainbow Bridge

by finally26 Online Now Jul 29, 2014 at 5:34 AM

I'm meeting a friend who is walking across the Rainbow Bridge from Canada to the U.S.
Where exactly do pedestrians exit the customs booth on the right side of the toll plaza. Do they come out into a parking lot where folks park to enjoy the park and falls, or do they follow where the cars leave the plaza (doesn't look all that walking friendly with all the traffic).
I'd like to be able to be as near as possible to meet my friend and am not sure where to wait.

We have a 12 year old and want to do and see as much as possible (possibly including the aero tram and the jet boat). Suggestion greatly appreciated!
