I'm planning to go to Istanbul early December. From there I will take a plane to Gaziantep. I couldn't find a flight to Antakya (Hatay) in a good timing so I think this is the best solution. Please if you have better one, advice me.
But I don't know exactly what I should do next.
I heard there are only taxis which can take me to Aleppo but it is too expensive.
Is it right? There are no buses to go to Aleppo?? What should I do?
Please, any advice would help.
I will be a female solo traveler who is thinking of staying in Aleppo for a week or two and I do not speak Arabic or Armenian.... :( I am planning on the end of March 2010 or beginning of April 2010....
My questions are:
1) Any suggestions on where to stay?
2) Is there a safe tour guide that will show me around the city and sites?
3) Is there anything that I need to be concerned with since I will be a solo female traveler?
4) I would like to meet up with other travelers that might be there at the same time as me or locals that are on this board... any suggestions?
