    • Coming to stay in Padova

      Padova Sep 24, 2016 at 7:34 AM

Hi everyone, I am new here and I am not realy familiar with the "Protocol".
Well, I am about to come to Padova and live there, as there is a job offered to me at the University. So, not knowing anything about the city, i would like to have some information, concerning a cheap place to stay for the first days, or the areas that are ok to rent a house. And of course, how much -approximately- is the rental cost of a small house with one room!

Thanks anybody who will answer in advance

is there cream or half and half available to use in your coffee?

      Venice Oct 4, 2016 at 10:21 AM

please forgive my total ignorance. i use cream or half and half (half cream half skim milk) in my coffee and just cannot drink it without it. no milk for me. only cream. spoiled little american that i am. can you tell me if cream is even available for use in coffee in venice? i had such a horrible time in copenhagen with the no cream was available and they looked at me like i had 8 heads. the hotel finally relinquished some cream for me after my repeated whining. (lol...just like an american, no?) please help me prepare for what i might find. i do drink tea with milk and would switch to that instead. or perhaps i need to get used to drinking some cappucino or other beverages you all might suggest. thanking you in advance.

I"m doing research on family and many times heard mention of Pistoia and Montangnana.I came across an article stating that the earliest record of the Dolfi was on a family crest hung on the wall of a church dating around 1100.A.D...... Also I seek any information on G, Grandfather Raffalo/ Raffaleo Dolfi 1847 - 1916 or Grandfather Caesar/Cesare Dolfi1887 -1997 and Grandmother Palmira 1888 - 1918 whose parents were Egisto Dolfi 1856,Chucchto, and Prudenza Dolfi 1961 - 1925 ,Paese.
thank for any information you may have and any other sources I might contact.
