I found very good deal for visiting Boston including flights, hotel and some sightseeing.
Now it's advertised as Luxury Holiday and the Hotel is Boston Park Plaza in cozy room.
That "cozy" description baffles me and I'm bit worried. So my question is: can anybody who stayed there give me idea what cozy room is?
I am very tempted to book but need some reassurance before I do.
We will be traveling to Boston this weekend for the first time! We will be staying near downtown and would like some suggestions on must do's.
We are also looking to take a day and travel by train to Portland ME to visit. If anyone has any suggestions on must do's in Portland we would greatly appreciate it!
We are a family of four adults 54, 55, 24,20. We would like to know the best things to do on NYE, do we stay in a hotel on the waterfront or downtown? Also do we splash out on one of the hotel packages or is there enough to do around the waterfront/copley square with the first night celebration. We are there for five nights, is everything open, what itinerary would be best and can anyone recommend any mid range hotels and restaurants? Thank you
Wie are a mid 50 couple. Will be coming to Boston in mid October for the first time for 3 nights.
What is the best area to stay and see the touristic interest?
Hallo my friends. Pls can you explain what does it mean when the MBTA says "only if purchased on a charlie ticket?
"$21.25 for 7 days
Unlimited travel on Subway, Local Bus, Inner Harbor Ferry, and Commuter Rail Zone 1A and only if purchased on a CharlieTicket."
CharlieTicket valid for 7 days from purchase date.
CharlieCard valid for 7 days from the date of first tap."
Thank you for your help.
I will be in Boston on Friday, December 16. I am having a colonoscopy at Tufts Medical Center (800 Washington St) and they insist that I have an escort meet me after the procedure to take me home. I am staying at the Milner Hotel (78 Charles St). If we exit through the parking structure onto Tremont Street and cut across Eliot Norton Park to Charles Street, the walk would be well short of a quarter mile. I am a solo traveler and do not know anyone in the Boston area. Is there any VTer out there willing to escort me home in the afternoon on Friday, December 16? Thank you very much.
Hallo my friends. We are travelling to USA on November. Do you have any general advice on cheap accomodation? We will start our trip in Boston. I know for example that in Italy there are some hotel-type places that belong to monasteries or to the catholic church and we were accomodated at some of them for a low price. Anything similar or whatever in USA, or Boston specificaly? Or shall I start searching as usually? Thank you very much.
Where should a group of Canadian thrity-somethings stay for a show at the Sinclair...should we stay in Cambridge or would Back bay/Fenway be close enough?
What's the first thing we should do when we get to North Truro this weekend? Too cold for the beach? Lunch? We're arriving at 11. Can you give us a perfect day? :)
We plan to make a weekend trip to Boston for Whale watching (we are in NYC), with our 8 YO. I wonder, if there are any recommendations about Whale watching tour company (or any that we should avoid). Plus, what other things we can do apart from Whale watching during the weekend that will entertain a 8YO.
Thanks in advance.
Hope someone could give us some advice. We're a family of four (kids aged 13 and 16) who needs to travel from Stamford CN to Boston. when we search for train tickets, Amtrac trains ends up really expensive as the kids seems to count as adults if over 12. Are there any cheaper, but still fairly comfortable ways of travelling. Suggestions of websites, companies and good deals would be most welcome.
We are planning to hire a car in Boston for 100 days, so one option would be to hire the car in Stamford or tthe surrounding area and return it in Boston before we fly out. To rent in one place and return it in a differentcity seems fairly expensive too, but maybe there are some good deals to be found?
Not most, but a large group of people who were in Extended Stay America hotels, suffered terrible experiences, in this hotel chain
Just read reports published on the internet. If what the propaganda of this hotel chain says were true, it would be the ideal Hotel for those who cannot waste their money.
Do you know how to AVOID EXTREMELY UNPLEASENT EXPERIENCEs IN THIS HOTEL CHAIN????
THANK YOU SO MUCH INDEED
Please, respond the questions bellow, for two scenarios :

1-Which routes to take?Hotels?,etc ?
2-Best stops and places, preferably near the sea ?
3-What to see?
4-What to do? (walking is not a problem for us)
5-traffic problems ?
Thank you so much indeed
Staying @ NorthEnd airbnb overnight on a Thursday & wondering about any suggestions about local pub or bar w/live music. NYC has what's called caberet/lounge shows but inquiring about Boston leads me to drag shows & dance clubs. Looking for something cozier. Willing to travel within metro Boston.
We are planning a 7 day trip to Boston and would like to do a few morning - evening road trips keeping Boston as the base. We plan to spend 3 days in and around Boston and spend the other days doing day trips by car. What would be a convenient area to look for a hotel from where we can take the subway/ metro to downtown and also hit the freeways for our road trips?
Is it worthwhile,,nowadays, driving in Boston downtown? And how about it´s suburbs?
We will be 4 people family so that we will have 4 large and 4 cabin size luggages, so we need a big Cab
Could you please advise me a cab company to bring us at the Fenway Park area from the Airport?

Thank you in advance.
I will attend a large international conference in Boston (at the Boston Convention and exhibition centre) which attracts thousands of participants. Hotels are at a premium near the convention centre. I was thinking of two alternatives, a hotel little further away but with good transport connection either through Public Transportation or Uber or Air BnB. I am not at all familiar with Boston geography and would greatly appreciate any help in choosing a location. Thank you
My family and I are interested in visiting Boston, MA. Would like to know if anyone is familiar with the hotels along that route so we have easy access on or off. We are looking looking for pretty reasonable prices hotels. Thanks for any help...Tara
Hello, I will be traveling to Boston for a trip and would like to ask if Cambridge, Boston has any functioning ATMs for Citibank? I understood that Citibank is withdrawing its retail banking branches from Massachusetts -- which is why I am asking if there are still functioning ATMs for simple small cash withdrawals.
We're a family of four from Norway (kids aged 13 and 16) who'll be spending a a week in NYC and Conneticut, then a few days in Boston in early July - after that we'd like to go somewhere nice by the sea for a week. Any suggestions as to what area would be nice to visit? We've looked at Maine a bit online, it looks really nice, but quite similar to parts of Norway - so maybe not the most exotic location for us. We're happy to travel up to five hours from Boston, either by hiring a car or getting on a train. We're flying out from Boston, so could also visit Boston towards the end of our stay - if you have suggestions for somewhere that would make that a better solution. Hoping for lots of good advice :) Kind regards from Anne and family :)

We are planning to drive to Boston from Toronto this December for the Holiday season. Are the shops and museums open? This will be our first time to Boston and would like to see what Boston has to offer to tourists. Any suggestion as to what places to go, will be great. Thank you.
