i will be coming in from the mainland and would like to buy some groceries like chips, sausages and chocolate. any stores close to the areas i will be going to? any place like a prizemart in hong kong in macao?

We are staying in Kowloon, Hong Kong and planning to take ferry from there in early morning for Macau visit Macau Panda Park,Venetian Hotel, Big Buddha, Ruins of St. Paul's, Jungceylon Shopping Mall, then return to Hong Kong by 7:00 pm as we have flight from HKG at 9:00 pm. Is it ok or you suggest some thing else. I want to enjoy Macau with my kids. Where should we keep our Laggages? Please suggest the best way.

I have noticed staff of several shops and restaurants burn paper in tiny, mostly red, incinerators out on the pavement. Today outside one premises this was being done but there was also a small table which had on it, a cooked suckling pig, fruit, flowers, small drinking glasses and chopsticks. Is this some sort of local tradition of were they just getting rid of waste paper?? I did ask , in English, what they were doing but unfortunately although they understood enough through arm waving etc to let me take their photo, that was the limit of our communication ability.

I wish to dine near the Venetian Casino as I have only 1 night here and wish to spend some time walking around this casino. Are there any good authentic portuguese restaurants close by to the Casino that can be recommended.

Has anybody been to this show and sat at reserved seat C? Hows the view from this seat? It is the cheapest and I'd like to get those but worried that it might not give us good views of the show. Thanks.

The plan is to go to macao and hit the venetian on a saturday night in july, leaving hkg around 8pm or so. Didn't know if I should go ahead and buy my return trip at the same time, i read somewhere that the ferries can get pretty full during the night--we are thinking about returning around 1am, as we have an 11am flight out of hkg to return home to the usa. Yes I know that is not much time, but just really want to see the venetian and the ruins, which we will take a taxi to. thanks.

We might be in Macao rather late, 9pm on a weekday, are there street vendors open then selling the pork chop bun? This is one of the main reasons we want to go to macau. We will even go to a non tourist place, as my husband speaks Portugese.

Will just have a late evening look at Macau before our flight back to the USA (arrive from bkk at 5:45 pm, will hope to leave bags at airport hotel, then catch ferry to Macao for dinner, walking around, flight back home is at 11:30am next day). Since we probably won't get to Macao till about 9pm are souveniers shops still open? I am assuming I could get souveniers at the Venetian? Also is the facade at st James at accessible at that hour?

Assistance needed as we will be visiting Macau mid of January 2013. As from the given information, was being told that there is a Factory outlet store near to Grand Lisboa Casino and Sintra Hotel. It is located in a street named Trav. Praia Grande No 2-1 andar as provided by the information in VT. Would like to know it is still in operation as we would like to make a trip there for some outlet shopping ? Anyone with ideas ?

Apart from that, would appreciate if anyone could share some information on the airport transfer from the airport to the hotel as i planned to stay in Sintra Hotel, Royal Macao or Emperor as still undecided.
