some of the cheeses are seasonal; and at that time you will find the people standing on the side of the road of the small towns as you drive thru, proffering same!
In the moutain town of SAN BARTOLO, abt 15 miles before reaching Los Barriles, there should be some locally-made cheese in some of the little tiendas; but if you don't find any prior to arrival, contact me and my best girlfriend here (Mexican) should be able to help us out.
Additionally, even the grocery stores (both here and La Paz, San Jose', etc.) usually will have locally-produced 'Ranch' quesos!
So, maybe I should construct another TIP under local customs, eh?
