buses to mormon university--temple mount sifting project

by toulouz Online Now Nov 15, 2010 at 5:26 AM

i am in jerusalem from jan 4. 30, and have been getting ready
to volunteer at the temple mount sifting project.

i found out i can't walk there--i am staying at the hebron hostel
old city, but must take the bus.

i finally got ahold of the people at the sifting project and they
said to take bus 38, then bus 19 from jaffa gate. supposedly the
buses start running at 5 a.m.? where does the bus drop me and is it
much of a walk to the sifting site?

does this sound right, everyone?
how far is jaffa gate from hebron, and also what is the cost? i have to
get to the site every day and take the bus coming and going, and i am working
on my budget---it is very tight.

i appreciate any and all comments, thanks.
