Later dinner at Otaru during Snow Light Path Festival

      Otaru Dec 20, 2016 at 6:38 PM

During the Otaru Light Festival We will only get into Otaru around 6pm since we will be skiing Mt Teine in the day. Upon arrival we would like to see the festival at both the canal and old railway track areas. I know light-up is until 9pm. Is there any dinner place which stay open late? So we can have something to eat after the visiting the light-up sites? Near the canal or the Otaru Station would be ideal...
Don't want to waste time eating before seeing the light-up..

      Tokyo Dec 31, 2016 at 4:24 PM

May i know whether Suica cards are available for sale at Haneda Airport? Which train operator sells these cards, Tokyo Monorail or Keikyu Line? I plan to fly non-stop to Haneda from Singapore on 20 September and from there travel to Odaiba or Shimbashi by train.

Travelling to sightseeing spots around Fukui

      Fukui-ken Apr 17, 2015 at 6:46 PM

I am planning on visiting Fukui prefecture next month and it seems that there are many interesting places however they are quite dispersed from each other. How easy is it to travel in Fukui? Is there a sight-seeing bus or something similar? Thanks.

    • I need to know more about Takefu, Japan

      Takefu Jan 25, 2007 at 1:49 AM

I realised there isn't much information about Takefu, Japan. Anyone been there? I will be going Takefu and staying there for 6 months due to work. I need to know more about the place. Please help.

      1. I dont understand Japanese. Will it be very difficult for me to move around? I heard that most of the younger generations understand english. Is it the same for Takefu?
      2. Is the living standard high? Are the food expensive?
      3. Any interesing places i can visit during my 6 mths there?
      4. Is the transport system in Takefu efficient?
