Travel flow around Salvador Nov 10-25

      Brazil Oct 19, 2016 at 7:42 PM

Flying into SSA around Nov 10 I want to visit the following places with minimal doubling back. How does this look?

Nov 10 -arrive Salvador for Foz de Iguacu
      3 nights Salvador -
3 days/2 night side trip Lencois (night bus from Salvador)
2 night side trip Sao Felix/Cachoreia (from Lencois via Feira de Santana (bus)
-Salvador via bus from Sao Felix/Cachoreia
3+ night side trip Morro de Sao Paulo or maybe on to Boipeba (boat/boat) Somewhere with a decent balance of not to busy but not too secluded. a little nightlife is good, no wild parties. I'm 55 :)
depart Salvador around Nov 25 for Rio

      Thanks in advance

What is the weather like around Lençois in mid November? I read somewhere rains come in November. I'm thinking of a daypack only 3 day side trip from Salvador. Would I need rain gear?

We are thinking of relocating to Combuco

      Hi everyone

We are a married couple(42 & 41) and we are seriously considering on purchasing a property in the Combuco area north of Fortaleza. Initially as a investment/holiday property with a view to moving out there in about 3-4 years time. We have been to Brazil (Salvador and Natal) on holiday before and both speak passable Portuguese, having spent two years living and working in Lisbon a few years ago.
We have a few questions if anyone would be so kind and answer for us:
What is Combuco like to live in, is it safe, are there restaurants and things to do etc.
Does anybody know of the proposed golf development that is going ahead nearby.
Does Combuco attract foreign holiday makers as well as native brasilians - we may want to open a small bar.
Is there much development going on in the area.
We have loved our trips to Brasil and are seriously considering a permanent move to this beautiful country.
Please, please, please - any advice and details would be most welcome.
      Mike and Vanessa
