    • Buggy Tour

      Natal Jul 18, 2016 at 5:59 PM

My partner and I would like to take a 2 day buggy tour from Natal to Maracajau (to snorkle) on February 3, 2017, returning to Natal by way of a tour to Genipabu on the second day. We are Canadian and speak English, if possible it would be good to have an english speaking buggy driver/tour guide. Or, I would be interested in renting a buggy and driving myself.Either way, Is this a possibility and how much money would this sort of tour/rental cost? Would it be possible to get a list of companies/people to get in touch with regarding a tour like this? Thank you, Leonard

      Pipa Jun 30, 2014 at 11:05 PM

we are traveling to Brazil for a family trip with our 9 and 13 yr old daughters who love to swim. We are arriving into Sao Paulo and driving ocean side. Where is the best place to visit and stay along the coast? We plan to stay in Sao Paulo 2 nights, rent a car and drive down the coast. Any help in planning out our itinerary would be greatly appreciated. We plan to stay beach side for 8 nights in July.

Me and 2 friends want to go to

Would you recommend going because of the safety situation??

If so, which would be the safest and cheapest??
It would be just for 1 day to watch the Opening game of Croatia v Brazil.

      Then come back to Natal.

Ponta Negra Dec 8, 2013 at 7:08 AM

What is the most efficient way to travel to and from Recife? We will be staying in Natal and want to see at least one game in Recife during next summers World Cup. Looks like there are buses running but it doesnt appear possible to book a seat online. Is a private limo/taxi/driver service a reasonable thing to do? How much can we expect to pay?

    • Spending Money in Pupa

      Pipa Jan 16, 2013 at 10:29 AM

My sister and I will be travelling to Brazil in a couple of weeks. We're staying in Pipa but know very little about it!

I'm wondering how much money I should take out there as I don't want to incur the charges of using my phone abroad! Are things like food and drink expensive? I was thinking £30 each per day. But I've no idea whether that is realistic or not? And also the cost of outings? Is there much to do in Pipa? And if so, is that costly?

If someone could advise me, I'd greatly appreciate it!!!

    • Place to stay / things to do

      Natal Jul 12, 2007 at 6:02 PM

I'm planning to go to Natal with my fiancee, and am looking for an economical but nice accommodation? Does anyone have any recommendations. I'm hoping to pay in the 35 to 60 USD range, but prefer small and quaint over any massive hotel chain. Proximity to beaches is also important to us.

I know this is an open ended question, but what highlights do Natal and the surrounding area have to offer. My fiancee and I are planning our trip and our current itinerary seems to have us sticking close to the coast and beaches. I'm somewhat concerned that as great as beach life is, it might start to all blend together by the end. Is there anything that you could recommend around Natal that could take us away from the beach?
