Hello, sorry if it's stupid Q, but I didn't find info on it.
Does terminal 2 is connected to terminal 3 ? I have a very early flight and I will stay at the Hilton at terminal 3.
Can I just walk early from the hotel to terminal 2 or I need to take the terminals bus?
Is there a really hot night club you can recommend, please? Where the girls/ladies turn up dressed to the nines, and REALLY STYLISH? Thank you.
Just interested in seeing Danes at their best, for innocent admiring and perhaps a bit of small talk and exchange of cultural fineries..
Thank you very much.
My cruise line recommends we not book a flight until 9:25 after we dock at 5:00 am after our cruise. Would I actually be able to make it to an 8:30 am flight? It is by far the best flight home option for me.
We are staying at an Amagertorv apartment not far from Kongens Nytorv. Found online info that says Greyhound bus 999 departs from Kongens Nytorv to Malmo, about 6 times on weekdays and 3 times on Sat. We plan to go on a thursday. But this website only shows 3 times
Do anyone happens to have the departure times for weekday? Or is it just 3 departures on weekdays?
We arrived quite early in the morning at 6.30am and are looking at the option of storing our luggages at the central station lockers before our 3pm check-in at the apartment we booked. We are a group of 8 people with 8 pcs of medium size luggage and a few hand luggages. Would we are concern 1) re availability of lockers for a group like us. Is there a possibility that they will be full? 2) Are they simple coin operated lockers?

Hello Frequent Travelers! I land at 1:00pm on a Tuesday. Would you kindly guide me to walk to which place to get to Nyhavn as fast as possible? I will have a Copenhagen card which is accepted by bus or train, but I prefer to get there sooner than later. Mange Tak!
First Timer to Europe

- Can you recommend safety tips while in the city?

Further to my earlier request, I was able to find the hotel details for first 2 nights. It is Fagerenes, and not sure if that is in center of Copenhagen. Just in case I need to find my way from airport to the hotel to join the tour group, can anyone help please with directions, metro, bus or shuttle. Trying to avoid costly taxi expense.
Thanks to all.
I wrote it on the Denmark forum but no one answered so I hope you can help me here, it's important because I want to book my flights but I need advice to know the best route....
I was in lovely Copenhagen, Elsinor, Hillerod, Roskilde, Brede and the town of Louisiana museum the last time I travelled to Denmark.
This Time I have the possibillty to book a flight to Billund in early september for a full 5 days (the flight back is on the sixth day). My question - How can I plan this trip so I can see the most interesting/beautiful places?
I'm 30, but I think the lego land is an experience I should see... so should I stay also for 1 night in billund? Where should I go next? Should I go to Fyn to stay 1 night in odense? should I go to Aarhus for 1 night too? Mostly I like to explore outdoor activities such as beautiful nature and enjoy the beautiful streets vibes better than cathedrals and museums....
It's also important to add that I plan to do everything by trains so I hope it won't be expensive.. is there a card I can buy like the copenhagen card I bought on my last trip?
I can take the flight back from Billund or from Copenhagen but I want to plan it first so I know what's the better option.... Thanks in advance for all the help!! :)
I need to make a day trip for casual business and was able to find a good fare from Berlin to Copenhagen. However, when I arrive I need to go to Helsingor for an appointment. Using online journey planners, I wasn't sure about what choices there were. There are options for Helsingor St., which seems to be in Copenhagen, and Helsingor the town. Just trying to find a reasonably easy way from arrival at Copenhagen bus station to Helsingor in the afternoon to evening time. Thanks for any help!
Can anyone tell me the name of this square in Copenhagen
Anyone out there, who can share my holiday at Copenhagen ?? To hangout with ??
I have a Master debit Card, is it accepted at the metro stations in Copenhagen to buy tickets ???
I cannot find a realistic taxi price for the transfer from Kastrup Airport to Scandic Hotel Copenhagen. There is a large range of prices in the Internet. We are two adults and one 7-year child. Thanx.
Is that the best option:
Metro from inside the airport and get off at Forum st, then taxi to Cabinn Scandinavia Vodroffsvej 55, Frederiksberg, 1900 Copenhagen, Denmark. Will touch down at 8h20 on the 20th of July
I will be in Copenhagen in July, are there money changers where you can easily change Australian dollar notes for Kroner or you have to go to a bank?
We'll be traveling to Copenhagen next week. What should we pack in clothing -- t-shirts/ light jacket/ warm jacket??
What are the other things we must cary along with kids ( aged 2 & 5)
Thanks in advance
I'm going to Osterbro, Copenhagen from - 1-3 June, arriving around 10pm and flight back is the same time too. Any advice would be appreciated. Also, is the Copenhagen card worth the payment, and should I get one for 24 or 48 hours?
Thanks in advance for your help :)
I posted this as well in the Stockholm forum so I'll cut and paste here:
Ed and I plan on visiting Stockholm this summer and will be continuing on to Copenhagen and then Amsterdam.
I'm looking and getting quite confused about booking rail vs flights.
I've looked at booking my flights between Tallinn and Stockholm on SAS.
I've never flown them before - some input on them would be helpful. Good? Bad? I take it they're a basic no frills carrier such as our Easy Jet or Jet Blue.
Pricing was cheap at around $65.00/pp including 1 checked in bag and 1 small carry on.
I've figured out that flight time between Stockholm and Copenhagen is relatively cheap and much quicker on paper.
By the time you figure in arrival pre-check in time, security, etc., figures out to be about the same as rail.
I'm getting a price of $67.00 one way between the two points on June 20th on Scandinavian Rail with a train travel duration of 04hr 21mins...does this sound correct?
Am I looking in the right place? best website for booking direct? I know to stay away from RailEurope.com.
Same applies for travel between Copenhagen and Amsterdam on June 22nd.
Finally, as I will be taking train between Sweden & Denmark then on to the Netherlands, on to Belgium and finally to France, would an Eurorail pass be more economical and to my benefit?
Thanks in advance,
Homer (and Ed)
If someones applies for a Danish student resident permit from country of residence but travels to Denmark from home country, would there be problems?
I am legal resident in Turkey since the past 6 months and need to apply for a Danish student resident permit from here. However, I plan to return to my Home country for good in July 2016 and plan to travel to Denmark at the end of August. Would this create any problems?
Who knows a male masseur for ayurvedic or wellness massage in copenhagen?
I am visiting Copenhagen in three week's time. This will be my first trip to Copenhagen and as a result I have quite a few questions, which I hope someone could answer. For info, my accommodation is sorted and I have all the info I need about what to do and see in Copenhagen. My questions are mainly about transport, and places outside Copenhagen.
1) Does anyone know if I would be able to use an Interrail pass to get to and from the airport? Because I am planning on visiting Aurhus and Aalborg, I am going to get an Interrail pass for Denmark (interrail.eu/interrail-passe...;
2) Is it better to use the Metro or the train to get to and from the airport?
3) I want to travel to Malmo as well for a day trip.
3.1) Should I try and buy a train ticket in advance (i.e. online) or on the day?
3.2) If it is available online, which website should I use? I tried DSB (http://www.dsb.dk/en/#voksen=1), but it stated that tickets can't be bought through the DSB website.
3.3) Does anyone have an idea how much a return ticket to Malmo would cost if I buy it on the day I wish to travel? I also tried the Raileurope website to get info on this, but the website stated that it couldn't find a solution for my request, because my intended travel date was too far in advance (which is really isn't, it is in about three weeks).
4) Are there any buses than run between cities like Copenhagen and Aarhus, or Aarhus and Aalborg?
We have a long stopover between flights -- from 10am to 7pm. We have never been to Copenhagen. What can we do in that time, but still ensure we make our ongoing flight? Thank you.
What is the best and least inexpensive way to get from cruise terminal to hotel downtown? Thanks. TravelingSue
will be travelling to iceland for a few days and copenhagen for a few days prior to a norwegian fjords cruise. i would like to charge my mobile devices while in the hotel. we have never travelled out of the country before. we do not need converters as my phone chargers have dual voltage. can anyone tell me what kind of adapter i need or if they are available at most hotel front desks? (staying at scandic palace). from what i am seeing online (and it is very confusing for me) i need a different adapter than i need in iceland while i am in denmark. thanks for any help you can give me.
This old couple will be staying at the Andersen hotel 19-23 June
We have decided to take a bus trip to Malmo on the 22nd but I am having difficulty with translation options on a couple of bus service sites.
The questions I have are as follows :-
1) Is it possible to buy “open” return tickets online ?
2) Is it possible to buy “open” return tickets on the bus or some other local location ?
3) What is the best tourist friendly bus service ?
4) Do pensioners receive a discount ?
5) What is the nearest bus stop to Andersen hotel ?
6) What is the best stop to disembark in Malmo ?
Thank you for your helpful replies in simple English
Thank you all for your help ahead of time. I've posted before, my wife, 2-year old and I will be in Copenhagen for a conference in late July. We're arriving early to enjoy ourselves and explore a bit (none of us have been to Europe before). My wife had wanted to go to Germany for a couple days perhaps. I was wondering, how easy is it to get there? Train or fly? And approximate costs to get ourselves into the norther part of Germany (Kiel or Hamburg, for instance)? Thanks again!!
My family will be taking a Norway Fjord cruise in August. The cruise departs and returns from Copenhagen, so we will be spending a few days pre-cruise. We are staying at The Square (near Tivoli Gardens) and our cruise port is Oceankaj. We will have 5 people plus luggage and we will need to get from the airport to The Square, The Square to Oceankaj and Oceankaj to the airport on return. On a cruise forum, people suggest taking a bus to and from the port, but I am unsure about trying that with so many people plus luggage. Are there taxis available that would be able to take all of us? Would the train be OK for us to get from the airport to The Square?
Hello fellow members. My wife and I will be visiting for four nights and we are unable to walk great distances. So we would like recommendations for a 3 or 4 star hotel which is located near to Hop On/Off service, or close to departure point for day trips, bus or boat. Ideally, we would like to stay in a hotel which provides breakfast.
