      Dear Friends,

Needed some suggestions on a 7 day “Photography” road trip from Vegas to Denver during the Christmas/New Year week. 2 of us will be reaching Las Vegas on Sat evening (24th)around 7 PM and have a return flight from Denver on Sun morning (1st) 1 AM.

Keeping in mind that it will be winter time, I have listed down some key places which I would like to visit, all open to change though (in the order from Vegas to Denver). My primary interest is Photography (Nature, Wildlife, Sunrise/Sunsets, Star trails, Milky Way etc). Please let me know the most scenic and feasible routes to cover during my trip and which are the must have places that I should visit.

      First time Hawaii visit

      Kauai Dec 1, 2016 at 11:32 AM

Hello! We are visiting Hawaii for the first time and I am having some logistics problems !
I have booked 5 nights at Disney's Aulani Resort on O'ahu... had too do that part first,
rooms were disappearing. My question is:

      • Kauai before or after O'ahu?
      • Can we fly into Honolulu...then jump over to Kauai ( Hawaiin Air?) then fly directly

back home from there, Kauai - Chicago? Is there a better/cheaper way to do this?

      • Most popular area of Kauai to stay in? East , West, North, or South? for walkability,

      restaurants, beaches, etc?

      Any other tips?

      Where to live.

by MirandaLand Online Now Nov 19, 2013 at 6:58 AM

May be relocating soon to the C-bus area from Greensboro, NC. It's difficult searching from states away- of course there are crime, income/rent maps and the like but not being in the area to look around makes it difficult to discern good neighborhoods/towns to live in.

What areas inside the beltway and outside (outlying towns, etc) are good to live in? I'm looking mainly for an area that's relatively accessible (i.e. 1-2 miles walking distance to a grocer, farm markets, parks, etc) and the like.

      Thanks!

      Hotel Near Expo Center

by LynnieAshB Online Now Jan 4, 2012 at 7:47 PM

Okay... In April I will be going to Columbus for Equine Affaire. It's at the Expo Center/ Fairgrounds. This is the first year going by myself & I don't drive... I was trying to get a hotel close to the fairgrounds. I booked at the Holiday Inn Express on East Hudson Street. When I first looked up the directions to walk from the hotel to the Expo Center, it was no prob.. I look it up and now it says that there could be sidewalks missing, etc... Does anyone know this area? Is it going to be a problem? I wanted to stay at the Comfort Inn right there, but the price... May still change mind, but...

If anyone knows about the area and if walking is going to be fine, it would be greatly appreciated.

by BillyBobJimBoe Online Now Mar 25, 2009 at 9:40 PM

Hi. In the summertime me and about 7 or 8 other friends are going to be meeting up at Columbus, and most of us will be staying at a hotel somewhere. Just about all of us are driving ourselves. I'm a bit worried because I think it costs for most parking at Columbus hotels - and we're going to have about seven or eight cars. That'd add up to be quite the bill.

Is there any recommended place to go where parking isn't much of an issue (meaning, cheap in this case given the # of cars, or perhaps are there any places with free parking?)

      Thanks!

Hey VT community I have some curiosity about this midwestern neighbor of mine. I have a few questions... Since when is posh shopping Victoria's Secret and Bath&Body Works? Are these not in every shopping mall? I can't think of anything more mundane than Bath&Body. What about Coach, BCBG, Bebe, Saks 5th Ave. etc. And for anyone to refer to JC Penney as anything remotely related to posh is a crime against high fashion, America, and the english language. I find it down right offensive. Come on I have a sense of humor. What is it like for young singles to live in Ohio? In St. Louis there is not a lot of cultural or social activity going on that is not family oriented. For singles here it is church, the bars, or the health club. What about there?
