I understand that the Raffles Hotel cocktail list is quite pricey and as I literally have one night to find myself a Singapore Sling when I land in May before flying out the next morning, is there anywhere someone would really recommend, that might be a little off the beaten path but completely worth it!
How would you rate the surroundings of these hotels? Are they in good neighborhoods? Is there any construction going on in the immediate vicinity?
We are arriving at mumbai CSTM (I believe it is called VT station) at around 11:00 AM. We have a flight to catch at 9:00 PM from the domestic airport. We are wondering if there is safe, baggage storage facilities at the station. Would greatly appreciate input from anyone. Thanks.

Kindly asking on how long the tourist visa application takes since the thai consulate in Vientiane has been shutdown. Right now Thai embassy is only avaiable for that but it might take a bit longer and also more requirements. Please confirm this or if process is still fast and smooth, cheers!
Can anyone please recommend reliable and safe taxi firm/driver from Delhi to Jaipur? How long would the journey be and how much should we expect to pay?
Has anyone used or can recommend hippocabs or jaipurdelhitaxis which we saw on the internet?
I've looked at train times but they're not very suitable for when we arrive from Dharamsala so looking at taxi options.
Hi Arriving at the port terminal on a Seabourne cruise ship on the 5th April at 08.00 and need transport to Kansai International Airport to catch a flight to Hong Kong. Our flight options are 10.40, 17.55. What is the best method of travel and how long does it take.
I'm about to spend 2-3 days in Sapa at very end of February, planning some trekking with home stay. I was just wondering about how cold could it get to decide which kind of clothes to bring and also if you would recommend high trekking boots or just trekking shoes would be sufficient for the paths around - this is meant for medium trekking, nothing too challenging.
I was told that the king is about to be buried or cremated this or next week. Is this true? I also heard everyone must wear dark, black, clothes to show respect to the king? So how far is this going? I am sure we will need to dress appropriately at the grand palace, but the travel tour leader that we talked to by phone said respectful clothes are required throughout Thailand. In the past, tourist areas were exempt from this. What places are covered by this? Thanks!

I will be in Thailand for 2 weeks from 3rd March. Bangkok, Khao Sok National Park and Ko Yao Yai island in the South. I know the days will be hot, I'm wondering how cold it gets at night. Would rather not bring a bulky jacket as I'm backpacking and trying to pack as light as possible. Will I get away with a light sweater?
Thanks for any answers :)
