    • parking in Canberra

by kenny_l Online Now Dec 16, 2015 at 12:08 PM

      hi,

We are visiting Canberra for two nights next week and would like to know where we can park our car over night. We will be staying at Novotel and it seems that there is no parking at the hotel. It also seems we can't park our car off street in Canberra. so we would like some advice on where we can park near the hotel, specially overnight.

      Many thanks - Kenny

    • Two days in February

by MalH Online Now Jun 5, 2015 at 2:53 PM

We are arranging our eighth trip to Aus next February and want to visit Canberra for the first time. We will probably have two days (one night) available before an early evening flight to Adelaide. Should we keep our rental car or rely on public transport to get around? What are the logistics of getting around the main sites by car, should we keep it, and is parking ok at them? Do most hotels in the centre have parking facilities? Any tips would be most welcome!

Hi! Going to Canberra next Monday and would like some recommendations for somewhere good to eat...minimum of 4 adults and 6 kids (max up to about 8 adults and 11 kids if everyone can make it). Would love somewhere with a playroom of some sorts. Preferably in the Belconnen area. Thanks in advance! :)

Heading back down to Canberra soon with the wife & kids to visit friends. Does anyone know of any good family accommodation nearby Belconnen? So far everywhere we've stayed in this ultra-lively city has sucked badly.

I'll be breathing a sigh of relief as we drive back across into NSW, I tell you.
