Hallo my friends. I'm back with one more question. Actually I'm interested in travelling from puerto iguazu to asuncion. But I really don't know whether to go by plane and save precius time or prefer either driving by car or by bus. Seeing part of the country is included in our interests but we are thinking of driving to the city of Encarnacion, so we will have time to see the country.
So, does anybody know if the distance between Asunciona and Ciudad del Este is worth the minimum of 6 hours drive?
And if so, is it better to go by bus or to rent a car?
Is the car a must inside Asuncion?
Thank you very much.
Please, some advice about transport from to Airport, hotel (medium price), and what to do!.
Thanks dear VT travellers!

Does any know if their is a bus from Asuncion to Salta Argentina?
Short notice I know but no harm asking.
I'd like to step out tonight and soak up a little nightlife. My days of booming dance music clubs were fun but they are firmly in the past. Any suggestions on bars where there´s a more mature crowd? My usual thing is to see if I can find a bar where there´s some live music on (covers rather than the leading edge of contemporary new stuff) so something like that would be interesting although I am open to other ideas.
Short notice as I said but what the heck.
I am visiting friends in Encarnacion- I need to go from Asuncion to Encarnacion- what is the best way to go to encarnacion? I arrive on December 24 is transporation flexible? how much will it cost me?
thank you, vry much
Is this easy to do from Asuncion if you have a multi entry visa? Imagine you would have to take a taxi to a bridge and walk accross?
And is that city worth seeing?
Someone recommended the above as a good eatery. It´s somewhere near Calle Iturbe y Caballero. Anyone know the exact location???
Will be visiting Asuncion during October. Seeking recommendations for hotels in the range of US$15-25 for a single room. Also suggestions for clubs, bars, pubs, and lounges, preferably with dancing, where I can meet people in their fourties and fifties.
I´m a psychotherapist and writer from Germany travelling South America- I´ll arrive in Asuncion about the 5th November 03 and plan to stay there for a couple of days. Would any local care to meet me and maybe show and tell me a bit about the town? I also speak some Spanish (though worse than English).
Any tips would be appreciated. Do you know of any excellent restaurants? How does the city compare to other Latin American cities? Thanks!
