Hope someone can help PLEASE.

I love using Google Earth and recently found an amazing programe called www.flightradar24.com which seems to use some of the features (or similar) of Google Earth.

Sadly and after a short time, the on screen image goes 'fuzzy' I've included a screen shot to show you what happens on my computer.

Any ideas on how I can fix PLEASE.

For Majahual I can't get the map to expand. And when I ask for Costa Maya which is what the cruise ship port is called, I get Costa Rica and Costa Mesa neither one of which are appropriate. I have put the page on Majahual for now. But I really didn't do anything there.

Before the upgrades to VT there used to be a facility which allowed to save answers from Travel Forum onto onto the respective location on my Trip Planner. Approximately a year ago this facility ceased and i was advised it would be included in new programs.
Has this happened and if so how do I use it?
If not, when will it be operational?

Can anyone tell me where my travel map is please? I have got a blank page were it used to be.

This isn't a strictly technical issue, but wasn't sure where else to post it.

I've started contributing to the travel forums a little while ago, including answering questions posted in the Comunidad Valenciana region forums, as I have spent 18 yrs living in this area of Spain.

However, when I tried to find the section for the location Moraira (the village I used to live in), it doesn't come up with anything. Then I noticed it is listed as "Rada de Moraira" - however this popular tourist destination is widely know only as Moraira, which will probably be why there has been no questions asked in this section for around 6 yrs.

Here's a link to the official tourist website of Moraira, http://en.teulada-moraira.es/
It also refers to the location as Moraira only, part of Teulada.

I would recommend this is amended on the forums to make it easier for users to find the correct location.

it seems that I am slowly crawling out of dinosaur age: am seriously considering to get myself a smartphone. At the moment I am insecure about which type of contract I want: contract or prepaid. And the next question I will have to ask myself is how much data volume I need.

Ok, more inside, including my "phone + internet habits" otherwise I'll blow up the forum.....

In the wake of the 'NSA is watching you' news, I'd lik eto know where VT servers are located, i.e. are they in the US where they can be accessed under Patriot Act and other privacy-damaging US legislation?

I have had this problem before and forget how I rectified it. The tool bars along the top are missing and the volume control is not at the bottom. I have Vista.

I have noticed that when I post an answer in the misc forum, then check to see if it is there, it is not.
So I hit the "post" button again, only to find that now I have TWO of the same answers posted. I am
not the only one. I see other folks with two of the same answers posted.....one right after the first.
Because I check on it, I am able to delete the second answer and it really never shows up. Guess this
is a glitch......Mothership where are you?

when I am trying to click on the little maps in the travel guides, they won't open in a pop-up. I tried it for several maps, and none came as pop-up. Cleared my cache, same thing.

Yesterday the maps would open.

=> is it my computer or a glitch?
Windwos 7, Firefox 21.

How can I search for the Euromeets? Trying to find next year's ... and have come up blank ...

I discovered few minutes ago the "latest tips" tab on my homepage.... It seems, according to the display that there wer no tips posted between today and ....october 2010!!!!!!

A glitch for sure, just found this funny, and may be VT staff can fix somrthing there.....

Hi, I'm new to this. I've enjoyed VT so much the past few years that I finally wanted to start contributing. So, I wrote up a review for pension in Poprad, Slovakia, as well as, warnings for the same town. They are showing in my personal page, but are not in the "big" forum. What can I do so they show up everywhere. Thanks for your help.

Haha, this seems to be a silly question, and I should know by now, but.....
I want to add the village of "Berg" in Bavaria, at Lake Starnberg.

In Bavaria's travel guide:
City List for Bavaria
are two destinations called Berg (no. 316 and 317 in the list). The one no 317 is the one I want to add. This one:

But when I do:
1) go to my travel list and enter "Berg", I get all kinds of destinations called Berg (in Belgium, in Austria, in California, Switzerland and even one on the Philippines) - but not the one I want. Not even one in Germany.
2) in the travel guide (see link above) of the Berg I want is no green button as we had them in the past where I can make my own page. The only option I have is to ask questions in the forum or to comment in overview or hotels.

=> how do I get this Berg on my travel list?

BTW: it is a famous little village, the one where King Ludwig II of Bavaria (who built Neuschwanstein Castle) was found dead. There is a little chapel in his honour and memory and a cross in the lake.

Scrolling around on different VT member pages, I noticed on a homepage where the person joined within the last month. His last login was quoted as "never". How did this show up? A date is Always given. And we have no control over the date. Just sayin.......

I've been so happy with the ability to add members' suggestions to a folder for printing out later...but at the moment there is no "add to travel planner" showing under the tips. I am definitely logged on and can see my travel planner folders when I look. Any help?

I'm looking for a better alternative to Google Maps/MapsEngine (ME is the newer version of Google Maps) to take with me when I travel with my Android smartphone.

Experience shows that MapsEngine isn't there yet, because the list of locations on the left takes too much space when viewed on a smartphone, and can't be hidden without also hiding the locations. Here's an example of London on Google MapsEngine : mapsengine.google.com/map/ed...

Here's my dream travel application:

1. Locations should be numbered (Google Maps only uses unmarked pins, while Google MapsEngine supports lettered locations), and it should be possible to move items around in the list and have the list renumbered automatically

2. If the user so wishes, map + locations should be saved as an off-line map, so it's fast and doesn't require paying for a data connection (useful when travelling abroad)

3. To maximize screen real estate, the map should only contain pins, not the list on the left like Google MapsEngine does

4. Hiting a location on the screen should display information (address, description). Even better: Play an audio file, so that I don't need to carry a travel book

5. Map should be semi-private, meaning it should only be viewable by anyone who knows the URL

Does someone know of an application that supports those features?

I seem to be having a problem posting answers in the Advanced Editor mode. When I try to start a new paragraph it will not drop down a space. Started happening yesterday.

Have just run into another thread that won't let me rate someone's excellent advice. Any idea why this is happening with some threads but not with others?

In Google Earth there's at the bottom of the screen a line - or toolbar - that shows the altitude and the latitude & longitude of the location to which you're pointing. What's the name of this toolbar? My husband has a problem with this in GE in Hebrew, I want to find on the net how to fix that, but I don't know what to ask. Anyway, in my English GE I didn't find any option to turn this on or off, which would show me the name.

I have never rented a mobile phone before. I'm going to be in Dallas, Texas (USA) for 8 days and a mobile phone (at a reasonable price) would be helpful. Can anyone recommend the best mobile phone rental service?

So you know, the green "first-time user" pop-ups are returning again. It also seems the pop-ups are not dependent on cookies -- sometimes I empty out my cookies and the pop-ups don't come back, and sometimes the pop-ups return in the middle of a login.  Any ideas?

Why do I keep getting this page when I try to login?

My computer crashed recently and i had to get everything re-installed , but since then i notice that my travel map shows that i have been to Texas and Nunavut. I have never been to these two places so i click a couple of times to show that i have never been there but no matter what i do (save map or not) i just can't seem to change it, as the map always indicates that i have been to those two places.
ANY IDEAS?

Hello forum friends. Does anyone know how to count words in a PDF document without having to convert to *.txt or *.doc format? Apart from counting manually, of course :-)
