During the last few days I often have trouble loading photos to the library. Sometimes the upload just doesn't start, or it loads up two or three pictures and then stops. Sometimes it works, but then it stops working again. Is anybody else experiencing this or is it just me?
hi. I haven't heard of any other reports. Are you still having the issue? Let's see if anyone else says anything. What browser are you using? What is the internet upload speed there? It's often very different from download speed. How big are photos you're uploading?

Thank you for your reply, G! I just tried loading eight pictures and it stopped after five and didn't load the last three. I use Safari version 5.1.6 and the photos have original size, usually 1 to 2 MB. I don't know my exact internet speed, but it is very fast and I never have any problems when downloading anything. I will go on a trip for two weeks the day after tomorrow, I will see if the problem is still there when I am back! And I will also try another browser then and see if it is better with firefox.

I had the same problem when uploading my Gubbio pictures around a week ago. I could do so many and then it would stop. But I found if I stopped the upload by clicking on the button, and then clicked to start again, it would - though one folder took several attempts to complete! I'll be uploading some more today or tomorrow so will report back on whether I have problems. BTW I use IE and resize my photos so they're fairly small files.

OK I just uploaded some more and yes, I still have the problem. I added 52 photos all between around 400 - 600 KB (and all to the same new folder), and I managed it eventually, but I reckon it froze about six or seven times during the process. Each time I clicked "cancel upload" and then "start upload" and it restarted. Sometimes it did as few as 2 images before freezing but towards the end it did around 15 without any problems. And there's nothing wrong with my connection as everything else is working smoothly and the signal is strong.
