how I miss locations nearby feature. I'm trying to locate a place called Es Canar in Ibiza island which is located close to Santa Eulalia town. But I cant find it on database, is there any posibility to be there with different spelling? famous of its market I'd like to create a page about it. Is there any possibility to be added manually from VT experts? On the VT map its there as ES CANAR a bit east of Santa Eulalia del Rio.
I had that happens before, figures! all the obscure places I write about ha ha Just drop a note to feedback@virtuatourist.com and they will take care of it. ciao K

I know Pieter but its more complicated now and you always have to find a place with content first and then do the math/convert magic with the numbers etc it was much more easier before. Now G says that we can just look at the map but it's not the same, Es Canar is on the map by the way but not on the database :)

I noticed. Just ask staff to add the location. It's clear when you look at the Google map place names, that a bunch of names is not in the VT database. PJ

I recently asked for 4 towns to be added to Laos, and they were added a few days later but would not be included in the destination section until i wrote a few tips. I find it strange that i have accessed several destinations (which are in the data system) in other countries and not tips have been posted. Strange!

ok, they added the place today! yes, I know what you mean, I guess it has to do with the original VT database and the new destinations they add manually. I already made tips so mine is ok :)

I always thought it was called Es Kana - not Kanar?

locals maps have it as Es Canar but I saw some using Es Cana so I guess both are valid

Sorry - of course I meant Es Cana. All the UK holiday brochures etc refer to it as such so I assumed.....
