Every time I get a friend’s request it says I have got three notices. Is that a glitch? On the members home page I can see that I can respond to the request. What is the difference between cancel and decline?
A few glitches happen at the moment ....a big update is in progress. I would think 'cancel' is for an existing friend. 'Decline' for some one inviting you for the first time at a guess.......

Sounds like we need to work on our copy! 'Cancel' closes the popup without taking any action. 'Decline' refuses the request. Sorry for the confusion. If you have any suggestions for better language, I'll pass them along to our requirements team. -Murray

And I'm not sure why you're getting multiple notices. Are they duplicates of the friend request message? Or is just the number messed up in the dropdown?

Thank you! It was just in the drop down menu I had the three notices. Looking at the dashboard there was just one notice.

I've just had the same thing. A friend request from a random person put two notifications in my notices but when I go to view all there was just one friend request. I clicked decline as I've never had any contact with that member before.
