The discussion below re the new Members pages has prompted this query. How long do members who have almost immediately been deleted remain listed as New members? I guess we all recognise some new members as advertisers or scammers very quickly because of their total lack of imagination when choosing a Username. This morning I discovered that hovering the mouse over the icons of new members will show "Member since etc" or simply "Loading Member information". The latter turn out to be already deleted but their names remain in the list adjacent to or between genuine members who joined the previous day. Is it not possible to combine deletion with removal from the list?

I think it will be. It's just that there seem to be a lot of glitches at the moment...like member search only working if names are lower case (at least, that was how it worked yesterday) and mail coming and going. No doubt everything will be smoothed and sorted soon....

They'll be gone, we just have to transition one last piece which should happen in a day or two. Not a big deal. You can't actually reach the deleted spammer's page, you just see them in the list.
