Normally I use Firefox for VT. But today I opened my page in IE instead. I wanted to look at and rate some tips, but will I could see the question about was the tip helpful, the only way I could find to rate it was to mouse over what is apparently an empty space, and then the rating would appear that I was hovering over. This doesn't seem intuitive. How will people who don't know VT well be able to find how to rate a tip?
It has been my experience (yesterday as well as today), that VT is misbehaving. Difficult to connect to, suddenly dis-appears and so on. Have been using IE regularly. Did not experience the problem you have written about earlier, save yesterday and today. Must be a temporary glitch.

I've never had the problem before, but I did yesterday. I also couldn't see the line that says - not enough ratings. I just thought if anyone monitored the forums that they would want to know It seems OK today.

IE is a terrible browser and does not read (and therefore does not display) most HTML code correctly. Keep using Firefox!

Also, if people would stop using IE it would make it a lot easier to create great websites. As it is right now, there is an unbelievable amount of time wasted by coders on the stage we call "making it work in IE" - this is when the site looks/works perfectly on ALL OTHER BROSWERS but then we still have to write all this extra code since IE doesn't display it properly. lol

There's no use lecturing me about computer programmer problems. Sometimes for one reason or another, I can't use FF. But it isn't me who matters. Most novice computer users start out in IE. So the website should work in IE.
