I was trying to start my own Flic en Flac, Mauritius, page but VT doesn't recognize it- I tried a few spelling variations but still nada. Can anyone help?
Here you go: Flic-en-Flacq Travel Guide Flic en Flacq in the Vt database, it seems. Mauritius has two listings. I found the list of placenames under the Africa>Mauritius listing, not the Africa>Mauritius>Mauritius listing.

Well I hope someone from VT sees this maybe tomorrow and fixes the database. The correct spelling is what I typed in the title. There is a totally different area called Central Flacq which is nowhere near the resort town of Flic en Flac.

Correction of spelling will probably not be quick as they are busy on other projects. I have corrections on a waiting list.

As do many of us. I don't think a variation in spelling is as important as e.g. placing UK villages and towns in their correct counties rather than just 'England' or 'Wales' or 'Scotland' or even 'UK'. But I know staff are too busy to deal with this at the moment (it is not as simple a task as it might seem) and it's not really a major issue for me.

placing into regions was easy and fixing spellings was easy, but sadly that tool is not longer available to us as we switch code base. Adding destinations is not possible at this time. I am keeping a file of places that need fix up, but can't do them right now...
