Hey guys and dolls,
I live in Antwerp (Belgium) and I have to go to Poland by the end of October. I don't have enough money to get there.
Do you have any idea how I can get there in cheapest way? (except hitchhiking and Eurolines)
you may check http://wizzair.com/
they go from Bruxelles Charleroi (CRL) and Varsavia - Modlin (WMI) or Varsavia Chopin (WAW)
fare is about 90€ but check yourself for the date you want togo.
btw avoid hitchhiking if you can
Have you tried the Student Agency bus lines, at least from the Czech border to your destination in Poland. Try a "weekender" train special for the Deutschland segment of your journey. Where in Poland is your destination?
I think that in the Facebook there are groups offering carpool between biggest cities. Mey be worth of checking. (Here in Finland we have web service offering similar "service" within Finland. You can publish both your offer or need.)
Thanks for your reply, I am going to Łódź.
you may have a look here
direct buses to Lodz
Although you indicated not wanting to hitchhike, there are people offering rides all the way sometimes.
Check this Dutch website: http://samenrijden.nl/
We went to Poland using "regional" trains, that were trains less fast than intercity trains. By then it costed some 17 euro each person to get from Aachen to Frankfurt and der Oder. This journey took more than 1 day.
