Yesterday, Dallas, Texas had a high of about 91F (32.7C)...yeah, it's pretty bad when Europe is way hotter than Texas :-0 Actually, 113F is the all-time high temperature for Dallas...twice in 1980 (I was here)...but at least we have Texas-sized air-conditioning...not poor Europe... Bill
This morning in San Diego, California it is 66ºF/19ºC. It is expected to up to 73ºF/22ºC after noon. Finally our water (Pacific Ocean) temp, is up to 70ºF/21ºC which is actually decent for swimming/surfing.
97 to a hundred here for the next week which is about 38 roughly, but there is usually a nice breeze.
Gillian, send some of that rain to the colonies in the U.S.
Linda, your water is warmer than anything for us. Rich, I believe the jet stream gods are who you need to speak to - but I'll see what I can do on their part. Temp? 16C - ish - making it around 60F.
Gillian, the ocean water here is usually pretty cold for most people until the late summer. About 60°F/15.5°C tourists complain about that all the time. :-)
Milano (Italy): 30°C/86°F (afternoon). Humidity 23% very good today!
I think we have 14 deg C tonight (57.2 deg F). When I left the office there was a sudden downpoor; luckely only for 3 minutes. I cycled in the sun thereafter and prepared the meat outside on the BBQ. PJ
Westport, Washington: 58 °F, 14 °C, wind speed is a nice calm 15 mph (24 kph) with and there is a chance of sun happening for an hour or two sometime later this month. It looks like temperatures might actually get warm enough later this summer for people to not wear jackets. Summer kite festival this past weekend went well, though.
Coldest day of the year so far was yesterday, a 'frigid' 60F/15C on the outskirts of Rio de Janeiro. I'm amazed at how many locals own parkas and scarves...
97 F/36 C here today. Yuck! It's been a disgustingly hot summer here so far. We've had 21 days above 90 F already.
Marbella, Spain at midnight 28 C
Perfect summer weather here in Southern California (specifically Anaheim). Upper 70s-low 80s (26-29C) forecast for the next couple of weeks. Morning/evening coastal clouds, afternoon sunshine, rinse and repeat.
We are not near as concerned about the temperatures here in the US midwest as we are about the *^ drought. Gillian, could you send us some of your rain if we send a self-addressed, postage paid container to ship it in?
