I really, really hate when ppl join VT to plug their businesses or what not.. I never bat an eyelid and turn them to the power that be at the VT mother ship. Just had somebody under the name of skavac who was trying to plug his website here on VT and also doing pretty good damage on TA.. Got bloody fed up told the mother ship and he is no more!! Thank you guys! We don't say Thank you all the time, but we do appreciated your quick response on our behalf. Valentina
Yes, I agree they do a good job of getting things off fast. It is kind of fun reporting the "bad guys". Feels like you have a personal contribution to keeping this site on the straight and narrow.

The speedy reaction of moderators is one of the things which makes Vt especially special. Imo.
I agree with the quick response by the mothership. But to follow on riorich55's comment - we do have the responsibility to make this a place online where we want to be. When we joined we were empowered to help make this a fun site, and keep the rules so that it is a safe place. Like our neighbourhoods offline. If we don't report the rule-breakers, or help the newbies know how it works, then we're not being a good VTer! We have to help, because who REALLY reads ALL the fine print and guidelines and manuals??? Only when we're truly floundering??? Oh wait - "No advertising or solicitation postings of any kind are allowed" is not in small print.... its right up there ^ at the top of the page!!!
And forgot to say thank you to "the mother ship" - certainly appreciate you guys.
