I have never played video games before because I was afraid this might happen. How can a grown man get so hooked on playing angry birds? This is taking up way too much of my valuable free time.
haha! Yes, angry birds is horribly addictive! I compare it to the initial craze with "Tetris" on the gameboy many years ago... I remember I had to almost fight my father for my gameboy... "I'm on level 9!!!" he would scream... I got addicted to "Plants versus Zombies"... oh, perhaps I shouldn't have told you about that game :-)
Thanks for the warning Jess, maybe there is some kind of parental block I can put on it :-)
If I'm away from this thread for awhile you'll know why.......
I haven't played any of these games since i was a teen cause i know how i will just end up sitting there forever if i start. There are usually some kinda games build in to my netbook when i buy it and one of the first things i do to a new netbook is to delte all games cause i don't even want to play them once as i am afraid i will end up sitting for several hours a day playing.
Not to tempt you but have you tried bubble explode? On the iphone it doesn't turn horizontal when you're lying down so I play it with the screen darkened if I can't sleep so as not to wake my boyfriend up. I have tried angry birds but can't get that far so give up. Fruit Ninja I play more.
I like a lot playing FarmVille on Facebook. It is a way to relax.
When my eyes start to fall out of my head, I know it's time to step away... from the... Angry Birds.
When I start cussing the pigs it kind of worries me......
Angry birds? I don't EVEN want to know...I don't like playing video games at all. But we all have our bad habits, lol. I sat there for almost 4 hours straight last night and watched a Bollywood movie. I had other things that need to get done but just couldn't pause it and stop watching
I had to ban all video games from me. I am such a compulsive person that it was taking up hours and hours of my life. It was not uncommon for me to find it was 1:30 or 2am and I had to work the next day. This is why I fear ever starting to gamble...... not happening.
VT is my only such addiction. I've managed to limit the amount of time I'm on VT from when I first joined. My real-life is much nicer with the self imposed time limit in place.
It's super addictive. My almost 2 year old loves watching Angry Bird being played. He cracks up when things topple over.
In the good old days of DOS, did anyone play digdug? That was addictive. Or better still, in the Apple II computrer, did anyone use a joystick to play that game where you gather as many money bags as possible, all the while being chased by strange animals? I still play Pacman on my Windows computer the moment I switch it on. Wife calls it the Invocation!
It is all Keti's fault - we have it in writing LOL
Drats foiled again.... I thought I had a scapegoat. LOL
Don't ever play Cradle of Rome...
Playing with yourself is much nicer anyway ;ΓΈ)
The original solitaire game Claus. I don't think I'll try any more games, this one was addicting enough. Maybe just stick to the daily crossword.....
I am sitting eating street food in Kuala Lumpur right now and will just keep my addiction to the free wifi and the Tiger beer in front of me :-)
Switch to Pocket Planes.
