Hey gang! Suvanki and I (Gillybob) have now arrived in Bergamo (along with fellow Oop North Crew member Alyf1961) and bumped in to Waaleweiner, LoriPori, Benson35 and alucas so far! We welcome all our VAs, fellow members and EurMeet attendees to join in this thread and share the fun and sun (yes, it's sunny!) - we'll all try to keep updates going here! Missing all our absent VTers - the world grows smaller and we'll see you around somewhere! Leics, poor lass, is still beavering away in the UK and joins us on Friday - till then, we'll be sure to enjoy her share of gelato and wine!!!
Getting on the plane in 45 minutes! 16 hours of flights for a 4 day turn around, but worth it :)

I cannot guarantee that there will be Grom gelato left by Saturday! ;-) We had a good, relaxed evening yesterday before getting down to the business of today. Good night's sleep and just making preparations for the day ahead. Breakfast in a bit where I'm sure we'll see a few VT people - seems like there's a few around already!

I'm jealous, I really am. After the simply wonderful time I had at last years Euromeet gig(s) I know everyone is going to have a blast. I can only guess at the amount of work that has gone into this, I have the privelege of knowing a lot of the people attending and I am completely confident it will be a resounding success. There is just one little thing niggling at the back of my brain, such as it is. Last year G announced Bergamo for this year during the Macedonia meet. Will there be a similar announcement this year I wonder? Has he got a little surprise tucked away? Anybody (outside the Mothership at least) taking bets on next year's venue? Still, all in good time as they say. Everyone who is going have a great time and I shall be with you in spirit.
hi everyone great to see this forum Well as already mentioned thegang is getting into Bergamo more and more everyday now Lori & I have been scouting some areas andI have posted two videos with some info and one more video where we met up with earlybirds VT;s So I will post all videoa here as well as in my thread here in the forums . We are looking forward to see all of you . I have been able to Skype with Dorrise this morning and she was soooo pleased about that . Fab videos Hansi, the church bells sound wonderful on vid 1 we don't have them anymore and as you say "simple" Vid 2 is great seeing a few vt members arrive,hope I will still be awake tonight so I can say hello. Paul, everyone is invited as to all meets. At last years Euromeet we had members from all over including Australia, the USA and Canada as well as many European countries.
