I never trust weather forecasts...and always pack for possibilities. We won't shrink, we won't rust, rain comes and goes, no biggie. It will be fun even if it's damp! :-)

accuweather.com/en/it/bergam... might cheer you up. Or eurometeo.com/english/foreca... Who knows? All adds another level of excitement! :-)

Thanks. Shame you live too far away just to nip over to Bergamo for the day...next time, perhaps? :-)

Yes, I hope so I am still sorely tempted to hop on a plane and come and see you all but the practicalities of it are outweighed Never mind, I'll enjoy reading all about it :-)

Scattered clouds with a chance of thunderstorms? 77 deg F? Sounds like ideal spring weather in most of the USA. Drop the temperature to 60 deg F and add a few lightning strikes and that is what we have had the last several days in this corner of the USA.

Still in the selection process: coat/no coat. Is no coat and a small umbrella a good option? PJ

I think you might be chilly without a coat in the evenings, PJ. Night temps look as if they might get quite low (i.e. mid-teens...usual summer daytime temps for the UK!). I did have one chilly day at the same time last year, needing my waterproof with a fleece & t-shirt underneath (on my wet & windy Lecco/Varenna day).

It is a double layered lightweight jacket (ergo small coat). Actually I think it's even a bit oversized. Nothing to laugh about or ? PJ

I am totally innocent, serious and asking myself what all the fun is about. I know I make people laugh, but this was not intended. Maybe this helps: sites.google.com/site/rabble... PJ

I need a good laugh every now and then PJ...but not at anyone elses expense,no offense intended..it's just my warped sense of humour imagining you in a 'small' coat (one being to small for you, like the sleeves up to your elbows and the length such as a schoolboys on a grown man)it was funny to me. Cheers Dorrise

I could do the weather forcast for here just as well as the weather people : hot, humid, chance of thunderstorms, temperatures somewhere from 90-95 on most days. This will apply for the entire time period from now until October oh, unless there is a hurricane, but you can see those coming on the radar, and the weather people rarely get the location they will hit correct exactly. This year, they predicted "less than average" storms, but we just had our first tropical storm and it's not even hurricane season yet Fortune tellers....
