2009 was the worst and also the best year for me. worst cuz i was very sick at the beginning. and have to take medicine since then , and seems i need to have it for all my life. best cuz my baby was born at the end of the year. She will be 2yrs old the day after tomorrow .:)

You've not explained why 2004 was such a good year for you Fen! I think 1993 was very special for me travelwise - 3 weeks travelling by myself around Turkey, mainly Black Sea coast and Eastern Turkey, post Gulf War so very few tourists - many places , I was the only foreigner, let alone female traveller- none of my family or friends knew where I was - A great adventure!

The past 2-3 years have been among my best. Have travelled non stop and not had a permamnent place to stay and i have visited more than 30 countries a year. Just the way i like to live life. 1992 was a very good year for me too. Real party year and i had my first visit to Brazil that year.

I agree it is hard to pick just one. 2011 was great since I got a "grandson" (long story). 2006 was one of the worst because I started my ongoing health issues then. 2010 was great because I retired and started really roadtrippin.
