I don't recall seeing Australia in the "World Series" or China, or England, or Scotland, or France or.....??? Are you sure it's the World Series or just a home game

Cardinals!! My favorite team :-) They won the first one , so far so good! I wished it was the Cardinals and the Rays instead of the Ranger, that would have been even better, since that would have been my favorite and second favorite team and I could have worn my Cardinals hat and Rays shirt:) and gone to a game

No love for the Rangers, huh? They have the more explosive offense, so the Cardinals pitchers need to be on their best behavior. Last night, it was one of the best pitchers in all of baseball going for the Cardinals, so the Rangers were predictably quieter than recent games.

Are you sure it's the World Series or just a home game" No Australian teams, however, there are Australian players(5), as well as players from the Dominican Republic(86), Venezuela(62), Puerto Rico (20), Canada (16), Cuba (11), Japan (10), Mexico (8), Panama (4), Colombia (3), Curaçao (3), Taiwan (3), Nicaragua (2), and Korea (1). So even though there is currently only one team from outside of the U.S.(Toronto, Canada), there are plenty of players from around the world playing in the most talented league in the world, so.....WORLD SERIES.

World's Series

Yes, there is one here for the Rangers. Of course I am often the lone dissenter on VT threads. Our OKC 89'ers are the Rangers AAA minor league team (ie-most of the current Rangers players once played here), and DFW is a short drive down the good ole I-35. Nothing against the Cards except that they have a bad habit of playing like crap during the regular season, then finally coming to life during the playoffs. The last time they won it all, they finished the reg. season 10 games over .500. In my opinion a record that poor should disqualify a team from going to the playoffs.

Bah .. Game 6 postponed because of rain. Guess we'll see if Texas pops the champagne tomorrow or St. Louis lives to see Game 7.

Cards deserve to lose with the three errors and no pitching....the game is Unbelievable though, one on the most exciting series i have seen in years, and it still ain't over til the fat lady sings
