I'm not that keen on Prince but I adore purple, have done since I was little. Real rich royal purple is the best, but any shade including the pale lilacs and lavenders will do. I have loads of purple clothes, a purple bedroom, lots of purple acessories in my house, purple flowers and loads of lavender in my garden, a purple car..... Lesley

I have a mauve lipstick as part of the selection I'm taking with me. I love mauve - its really versatile!

I forgot to mention Purple lipstick, eyeshadow and nail varnish. Lesley

I quite like "When Doves Cry", and I looooove all shades of purple. Was just thinking of respraying my car a deep metallic purple shade. What do you think??

Oh, oh, I have purple nail varnish too!!!! I like When Doves Cry but one of my favourites is Sometimes It Snows In April - not a well-known song of his but it really moves me everytime I hear it!!!

Yeah!!! Purple poodle!! I must look to see if I have some purple studs to go with the long silver dangley earrings.

I've tried putting on purple contact lenses before, but with my dusky skin colour I looked kinda weird :(

I couldn't think of putting in contact lenses - its just that something about sticking something in your eye. I mean, a finger to get something out is OK but something that sucks itself onto your eyeball - nope!!!

many good songs here...i agree hard to pick:-) but what is the best song that wasnt on a top10 radio list etc....but maybe a B side and not very populare for radio /tv

i went to see him on saturday, he was absolutely superb, although the concert was a little short with no support. i like most of his songs but when doves cry is one of my favourites, i was annoyed he didnt play it or lets go crazy. take plenty of money with you, mens t-shrt £30, programme £15, beer £3.50 a pint.

Thanks Dunk!! I have every intention of getting a program - seen the photos and his "come hither" eyes!!! Might go to the After Party in Indigo2 - he's played quite a few times at the After Party now. The set is different every time and he always leaves fans wanting more!!
