Hello,
I'm Rahma from Indonesia.
I am going to go to Beijing by train, and get a little bit confuse between Tianjin Railways Station and South Station. Is it the same station?
Is there any locker room or luggage room in Tianjin Railway Station?

I have bought a tour for 5D4N in Beijing. But I have booked my flight ticket to arrive in Tianjin 2 days earlier than Day 1 of tour and also my departure flight is a day after the last day of the tour itinerary. This means I have at least two and a half extra days on my own.
How much time should I spend in Tianjin? I arrive in Tianjin at about 3 pm and have two days before joining the tour.

Hi, I would be going to Tianjin for a day from Beijing by bullet train in the morning, and returning at night. I am seeking help on directions to the various places in my itinerary. Below is my itinerary:
Arrive in Tianjin
Visit Century Clock across Liberation Bridge
Visit Haihe River
Shop at Binjiang Dao Walking Street & Nanjing Road
Shop at Heping Road
Lunch at Nanshi Food Street
Visit Drum Tower
Visit Tianjin Ancient Cultural Street
Visit Wudadao Sightseeing Street
Can anyone be able to help?

I will be visting Tianjin for aconference. The conference will be helsd at the Tianjin Meijiang Convention and Exhibition Center (MJCEC), Tianjin, China.
Can any one help me with Good hotel that is close to the MJCEC. I tried google but no help.
I also would like to to take my wife with me, any good shopping places.

does anyone know the cost of taxi fare from Tianjin airport to cruise port in Xingang and how long is the ride? Please refer a good taxi driver and if possible, phone number so I can call to book?

Dear all,
Can anyone help me the step-by-step how to go from Tianjin Binhai International Airport to Beijing Zhan Railway Station? I want to take bullet train (C Train).
The step-by-step means: How to go from Tianjin Airport to Tianjin Train Station for taking C train? Where to arrive in Beijing, and how to go to Beijing Zhan?
I'm a very disoriented person and can't read map :( I also avoid taxi.

We will arrive at the cruise port in Xingang in October 2009 and would like to go to the Tianjin Railway Station to take the bullet train to Beijing. I need information on how to get to the bullet train from Xingang cruise port. Can someone tell me the approximate cost of a taxi from Xingang port to the railway station? Or is there a light rail train between Xingang and Tianjin? Or would it be better to take the bullet train to Beijing from Tanggu instead of Tianjin? If so, what would a taxi cost to the Tanggu station?
We have been to China one before and love the country but it is sometimes hard to find information details from so far away.

Hello, my family and I will be arriving in Tianjin on 22 May afternoon. We will stay one night in Tianjin before leaving for Beijing the next day evening.
Please advise which hotel Ibis is more convenient & comfortable for tourist sightseeing purpose.
1) Hotel Ibis Tianjin TEDA : 30th 3rd Avenue TEDA - 300457 - TIANJIN - CHINA

i have a day to spent in Tianjin before catching flight back to malaysia.
will reach tianjin around noon time by taking a bullet train from beijing.
Any suggestion which hotel to stay, preferably near shopping and old culture
street and not too far from the airport.

I will be spending 2 weeks in Tianjin mid - April and am a keen Rugby supporter. Is anyone aware of any pubs/bars that would show the Super 14s rugby? Thanks in advance

We've visited Tianjin before and loved our private day tour... the former concession area, the food mall, the culture street. We'll be arriving in Xingang again and we are wondering if it's possible to hire a taxi, with even a slightly English speaking driver, that would take us to Tianjin and show us around. There are a few sites we didn't see last visit and wondered if these are worth a visit... the Shi Family Mansion and/or a cruise on the Haihe River.

So, is anybody able to recommend guesthouse near Tianjin harbor ?
I think people from another nation run homestay like guestroom.
I want to stay in different culuere, having a chat over a can of beer
I know many korean guesthouse' address in Tianjin,
if someguys need information, I will gladly comment list!

Does anyone know of any organizations in Tianjin that focus on economic/community development, gender and development, or anything else along those lines? I'm looking for an organization that I can get involved with while I'm in Tianjin...I'll be here until July 2007 so I figured I might as well get involved and offer to be of whatever help I can.
I've heard of the Tianjin Women's Federation? Know anything about it?

I am urgently trying to get contact details for a Company I believe are based in Tianjin. If anybody knows of this company please can you post some contact details.
Either telephone, or fax numbers, e-mail or address.......any information would be helpful. I believe they are operated by a woman and are a privately run firm. They trade in agricultural items such as millet sprays etc. The name I have is "TIANJIN GREAT AGRICULTURAL PRODUCTS LIMITED" Any help would be appreciated.
