Staying at the Holiady Inn Zhuhai, just wanting to know is area safe to walk around , how far to some good cloth markets and were are they, looking for jeans good polo & business shirts belts etc. and how about good running or cross trainer shoes, ant info would be great.

Which bus goes between transport between Zhuhai and Macau ? How frequent it goes

Hi there everyone, going to zhuhai from HongKong in early January 07 just wondering which are the better shopping malls to go to we will have a local person with us sometimes.

Are there any good night markets, i know the clothes are cheap but also interested in photography gear , any comments please.

We are from Chongqing right now! And next month we want to travel to macau. but there is no direct flight from Chongqing to Macao. So we might take Chongqing to Guangzhou...But i heard there is a flight from Chongqing to Zhu Hai and we would like to try it! I just want to know how far is Zhu Hai Airport to China Exit going to Macau? I need an immediate respond! Thank you!

Me and my wife are planning to go to mainland China from Manado, North Sulawesi, Indonesia, on August next year. We are going from Hong Kong to Guangzhou, spend 1 night there, then on to Xian for 2 nights, Beijing for 3 nights, and Shanghai for 3 nights.
Now, here is the problem.
From Shanghai we plan to go to Macau via Zhuhai. What kind of cheap, reliable and, hopefully, comfortable means of transportation from Shanghai to Zhuhai, and then from Zhuhai to Macau? We plan to stay 1 or 2 nights in Zhuhai and 1 night in Macau (again) before flying to Kuala Lumpur and and back to our hometown via Denpasar Bali.
Another question. Is it easier to get visa to mainland China from Hong Kong or Macau, since Air Macau is planning to fly direct from Jakarta to Macau sometimes next year?

Any information will be greatly appreciated.

I was just wondering if anybody knew any details about travelling from Yangshuo to Zhuhai. I heard that there isn't a train line directly connecting the two yet, but do bus services run at all? Preferably a cheap sleeper bus. Anybody got any ideas about pricing and timings? And has anyone done the route - how comfortable etc? Where would I buy the tickets?

We will be in Zhuhai for 2 days in Dec.

I understand from the macauzhuhai website that Bus 99 and 26 goes to Meixi Archways and Bus 5, 14 and 30 goes to Wanzai Fishing Street.

Can someone tell me if I can take these bus from Gongbei Port. I will be staying at Fortune Hotel which is across Gongbei Port.

Can I know where I can take the sightseeing bus. Will there be a short a Gongbei Port. What is the frequency of these buses.

(1) How to get to Lotus Street from the underground shooping center I mentioned. Someone in the forum said to walk straight from the border; I don't speak English and want to be sure I know where I'm going.
(2) Where can I get a street map in English?

Hi,

I am from Singapore and I will be travelling to GongBei, Zhuhai to work and live. I have been recommended by a local chinese agent to buy an apartment at JinZhong Garden in Gongbei. Does anyone know if this is a good recommendation etc? What is the environment of this place and the approximate price per sq m for the property there? Are there better places etc?

How to get from Macau to Zhuhai airport? And how many hours will it take from the border of Macau to Zhuhai airport?

I stay in GZ now and I'll take a flight in Macau, departure from Macau international airport to KL,Malaysia. Then I'd probably take a shuttle bus or my friend'd drive me from GZ to Zhuhai and cross the border to Macau. Does anyone know which spot I should get off in Zhuhai and get to Macau so that I could take the flight on time?

Does anyone knows how long it takes from Gongbei border to JiuZhou port? Is JiuZHou port the only one provide ferry to Shenzhen? and what time is the last ferry please? How much is the fare? Leave luggage service available?

I will be in Zhuhai for 2 days in Jun 2006. Would appreciate information on local bus services to the Pearl Lady. I will be staying in Fortune Hotel which is nearby Gongbei custom. Would also like to have info on Lotus Street and Wanchai Street. Is it near the Gongbei custom, if not, any bus servicing the areas.

Im planning to visit FoShan in May. Due to cheap flights available from my home town in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia... i will be making my way to FoShan by bus.

i understand that there are busses that ply from Gong Bei to FoShan but need to know their daily schedules so that i wont be stranded... appreciate any info on this.. a website or phone number will be much appreciated.

Do you think it is worth to travel to Gongbei/Zhuhai for half a day for cheap seafood and shopping for cheap ladies clothings?

We are going to Zhuhai on March and we'd like to go to Imperial Hot Spring. Could someone provide me more information such as:
1. From Gong Bei- how to get to Imperial Hot Spring
2. Other Hot spring similar to 'Imperial' around zhuhai?

I'd like to spend a few days visiting Zhuhai and the vicinity. Can any of you China travel gurus please recommend some hotels in Zhuhai? Preferably in or around the Gongbei or Jida area. Price-wise something no more than USD40/night (single room) would be great. Then, of course, quality, safety, and being tidy should also be the items on the agenda.
