Hi travellers,
my question is how far (in Kms and by train) is Mt Fuji area from Tokyo (Asakusa)? and from which station I should travel from? I am travelling to Japan this mid October and I have a day off with JR Pass... so I was thinking in travelling to Fuji area at the end of my trip, if it is not so far and if I can do it in a day-trip. Maybe sleeping somewhere in shibuya, could be possible as well. Thanks a lot. Regards, Tzuki |

I am looking for a bus route map, time table and fare information between
JR Shin-Fuji and Fujinomiya-guchi 5th Stage. Are there any bus routes which connect Fujinomiya-guchi 5th Stage with Kawaguchiko-guchi New 5th Stage. Does anyone know a better Mt. Fuji area map then http://www.shizuoka-guide.com/english/travel/shizuoka/Fuji.html Can I go by car to the 5th stations? Is there parking space for free available? Would I need snow wheels? regards |
