I'm planning a trip for the end of the month with my friend we are going to rent a car and drive from Mexico City to Acapulco, and from Acapulco to Oaxaca.
I would to know if anyone know how much it will cost me with or without taking the toll roads?

I was in Acapulco with my family about 6 or 7 years ago and we ate at this beautiful restaurant in town. I am now going back to Acapulco to get married but can't remember the name of this restuarant. I wanted to have my wedding reception dinner there.
Can anyone help me?
Here is what I remember about it....
The restaurant felt like you were eating a gardern. It was outdoors, very beautiful inside, surrounded by a large garden. It was in town(main hotel area) and it was an upscale resturant. We had about 5 waiters serving us, excellent service and food.

Specifically, I want to know whether there is bus from Crown Plaza to the Fairmont Acapulco Princess? How long will it take? Is it safe to take taxi?
I'm looking forward to your reply. By the way, I'm a single female traveller.

I am taking a small group (10 high school students) to Mexico in June. This is my first time in Mexico. We are going to Mexico City, Taxco, and Acapulco. Are there places for the kids to go at night that would not include drinking alcohol? I want them to have a good time but I still want a job in September.

I'm planning to take my first trip to Mexico this summer, and someone recommended that I try Acapulco or Puerto Vallarta as opposed to Cancun for a little less American-like vacation. We're only going to be there maybe 5 days, but I'd really like to go to Oaxaca, too. Is there time to maybe take a day trip? How far is Oaxaca from Acapulco?

A few friends and i were planning on a trip around the last week of June. We realize the nightlife scene won't compare to spring break but will some of the bars and discos still be somewhat busy? Does going over a friday and saturday make a difference in the clubs and what hotels are best stuied for our needs? Thanks in advance

My husband and I will be taking our 20th Anniversary cruise in September. We only have 1 day and 1 night in Acapulco.... I need advise as to what not to miss while we are there, and great activities to do. The cliff divers is on my list.... but what other things make Acapulco special....

what can I expect at the airport. are taxis under federal control,do I need to ask price before getting in,is there a booth? I've heard different stories and not sure what to expect. gracias.

Has anyone taken a bus from Mexico City to Acapulco? I'll be in Mexico City for 7 days so I'm considering a trip to the beach.

My husband and I are middle age yet enjoy an active and very busy lifestyle. We are looking for a beachfront, all inclusive resort on Mexico's west coast (away from the summer threat of hurricanes!) that seems to be popular with North American tourists. I'm sorry if this sounds prejudiced, but we have been to so many popularly named resort-chains that attract couples and families from Europe, and unfortunately, the European guests are loud, rude, and generally in everyone's face. Breezes in Curacao was exactly the kind of place we enjoyed - guests were from the States and Canada. So, if anyone can offer ideas of AI resorts, we'd sure like to hear them. Thanks.

Just watches a UK tv programme which included a feature on buying in ACA.

Despite the distance from the UK the place looked wonderful and I would just love to know more about what is available/possible in ACA?

I guess that a sea view is a must, apart from that 2+ bedrooms and a decent location.

Im thinking of paying a visit later this year. Anyone know of good, dependable local agents? What are the rental possibilites?

my wife and I will be staying in a timeshare in the puerto marques area. do busses run on a regular basis there?

My husband and I are staying at the Park Royal Hotel in Acapulco in February. It is an all-inclusive, and I want to know if it is of good quality. We have stayed at other all-inclusives in Cancun and Jamaica, but want to know about this one.

Also, the hotel is rated a 4 star, but want to know more. If anyone has any info. I would greatly appreciate it.

My good friend is from Mexico and she's moving back there this summer. Her parents are letting her take 5 friends to their condo in Acapulco for Spring Break. My parents are worried about a group of highschool girls being in Acapulco, even with parental supervision. I don't drink, and I definitely won't be leaving clubs with anyone. Do you think Acapulco would be safe?

My wife and I will be in Acapulco for just one day (arriving by cruiseship) on December 31 from 9:00am to 9:30pm. We want to see and do as much as possible in this very short time. We would appreciate a suggested "itinerary" of must-see and must-do activities from morning to night.

We are "young", active seniors and would be open to all ideas and suggestions. We like hiking, rafting, etc. and the cliff divers at night sounds interesting. We know it will be a whirlwind day, but we are ready and willing.

If there are any local VT's who could be available to personally guide/drive us thru this day, that would be even better!

We are coming for a visit to Acapulco next month.
Please tell me where I can find big selection of fresh organic produce? Preferably near the bus station to Ixtapa (Estrella de Oro Boletos).

Are there many golf courses in Acapulco?

In Jan. four of us (female) will be in Alcupulco. We would like to see the cliff divers at night.
Should we go through NCL or is there a safe alternative that would include transportation to and from as well as a good location to watch the divers? Will we need to make reservations? If so, where and how?

I will be driving from Zihuatenejo to Puerto Escondido and have to pass Acapulco. Does anyone have any suggestions/directions as to the best way.

Are there any of the beaches in Acapulcowhich that allows nude or topless sunning ?

We like to bring items to give to orphanages or charities for children in need when we go to Mexico. Has anyone any ideas to share so we can do this when we come to Acapulco in January? In Puerto Vallarta, we brought luggage full of toothbrushes, soaps, toys, books, etc. that we collected in our community and then gave to a local orphanage. We also could purchase a few needed items from Costco and distribute while we are there. Any info would be appreciated, thanks so much.

I will be in Acapulco from Wednesday through Sunday and was looking for some advice on where to go. From what I have already read, it looks like Palladium is the place to be on Saturday. How about Baby’ O, is there a good night for that club? Also, what time should I show up? They say the clubs stay open until Sunrise so does that mean not to show up until midnight? Also I found information on an after hours bar called Privado. Does anyone know anything about this place and how to get in?

We are looking for some cute girls to hang out with us and show us a good time or maybe we could show you a good time. Any girls visiting from out of town that week that want to party?

What should I expect? Will there be a big party? Any recommendations on where to go? Are group is comprised of four 26 year old guys from Chicago that love the night life, where should we go?

I have to go visit some family in Mexico in the first week of May and I wanted to bring down some friends from here and turn it into a all inclusive vacation with my girls. I've heard that all inclusive has been cancelled in all of Acapulco in May. Is this possible? Does anyone know anything about this?
I know that its a popular travel time in Mexico (Cinco de Mayo etc.) so the rates have probably gone up.
