Isla Mujeres Accommodations in Isla Mujeres
Posted: Thu July 10, 2008 02:28 PM UTC
Hi there,

We will be coming to visit Isla Mujeres late November 2008 and are wondering if anyone can give us information on two places that we are considering staying at.
1st place is: Casa Ixchel, it's a smaller place about 1 mile from the ferry. It looks and sounds great according to their website.
2nd place is: Casa Maya. They have budget rooms which makes the price very attactive.
If anyone has stayed at any of these two places, we would love to hear what your experience good/or bad.
Also, does anyone have a recomendation for a great place to stay preferably close to North Beach.
Thanks for your help.

Isla Mujeres New Year in Isla Mujeres or somewhere nearby Cancun?
Posted: Tue December 4, 2007 09:34 PM UTC
Hello,
we with my wife (both around age 30)are coming to Cancun on the 29 of December. As we would like to spend the New Year Eve out of the Cancun, could you recomend any other nice place/town, island? We are thinking about Isla Mujeres or Tulum. I am just wondering wonn't it be too quite for example in Isla Mujeres? But from the other hand we also do not want to stay in the chaos Cancun.
All suggestions and recommendations are welcome.
Thanks,
Vaidas (from Lithuania)

Isla Mujeres Isla Mujeres water taxi
Posted: Mon December 3, 2007 12:38 AM UTC
Is it possible to get from Isla Mujeres to Gran Puerto earlier than the earliest scheduled ferry? Are there "for hire" water taxis? What would the cost be?

Thanks for your help.

My wife and I will be staying with you from Oct 28th to Nov 3. I want to know what are the best and most cost effective ways to transfer from the Cancun airport to the ferry, and from the ferry to your club.

Isla Mujeres Payment Arrangements
Posted: Wed November 15, 2006 02:55 PM UTC
We are planning to stay at Elements this february. We've been asked to send a deposit directly to a US bank to the account of Ursula DiLorenzo. This seems a little unusual and just wanted to check that you were asked to something similar and that it worked out
Thanks

Isla Mujeres upscale accommodations in Isla Mujeres
Posted: Tue August 1, 2006 07:22 PM UTC
We have traveled to Playa on a number of occasions, mostly staying at Royal Hideaway and, last yearm at Secrets Capri (RH was closed). We will be returning to Secrets in Feb but would like to split the trip to 4 or 5 days there and perhaps 3 or 4 days in Isla Mujeres at one of the more upscale properties
Any suggestions?

My fiance and I would like to honeymoon at Villa Rolandi on Isla de Mujeres, from early to mid July, 2006. Is this too risky in terms of hurricane risk?
Would appreciate feedback!

Isla Mujeres Question about cottage at Hotel Roca Mar
Posted: Mon January 16, 2006 02:37 PM UTC
Has anyone ever seen or stayed in the two bedroom cottage at Hotel Roca Mar? Since we are traveling with our 15 year old daughter we booked this for April rather than individual rooms at the hotel but there was no detail about it or pictures. I am hoping that it is clean and pleasant, as it sounds like the rest of the hotel is. Would love to hear any information about it.

Thanks,
Mary

Has any one been to the Avalon Reef since they opened after Wilma? We have plans for March and are hearing that it is still in pretty bad shape. Like any traveler, we don't want to end up someplace for our vacation that is not renovated and ready for tourists. Hope someone will have some information for us.
Thanks,

Isla Mujeres weather in June
Posted: Mon May 30, 2005 09:38 PM UTC
Hello, my boy and I are planning a possible isla mujeres/ tulum trip in mid june but we were wondering if it will be rainy? I know it'll be very hot an humid, but I want to lay around and get a tan in addition to snorkeling diving, etc. the weather websites show some rain over the next ten days, but it won't tell me about june averages (or maybe I am not looking correctly). Anway, any help would be awesome, thanks

Isla Mujeres Isla mujeres and isla holbox lodging
Posted: Mon January 17, 2005 02:00 PM UTC
Hi, my wife and I are planning a trip to the Yucatan in April. We haven't been there before, so have lots of questions. Do we need to reserve lodging in both Isla Mujeres and Isla Holbox, or can we just show up and find a room "spur of the moment". I don't want to lock into a schedule if I don't have to. Thanks for any advice!

Isla Mujeres Isla Mujeres after the hurricanes
Posted: Wed December 15, 2004 11:46 PM UTC
My wife and I are heading to Isla Mujeres (Hotel Na Balam) the last week of January, first week of February.

I am a little concerned that the prior hurricanes have left the island in bad shape. Does anyone know if Isla Mujeres was spared extensive damage?

Thanks,

Greg
