David here from Los Angeles heading back to Russia for a few weeks. I will be in the Yekaterinburg city area in late March, next month. I will stay in town for a few days, then travel around the countryside by car for another few days.

If anyone would like to meet up, or if you're in the area, please let me know. I'd love to meet you!

I need to travel from Yekaterinburg airport to the city of Chelyabinskaya, and am trying to find out the best way of doing so. I think they are about 200Kms apart, so imagine there is a coach or train service between the two but am struggling to find any information.

Any help would be appreciated.

I've been looking to buy Russian Rubles before I got out to Yekaterinburg - I can't find anywhere to get them! For previous holidays I've gone to Thomascook and had no problems, this time I checked the website and they only have Euros or US Dollars?!

Anyone know where to buy Rubles from in the UK?

Ideally that I can collect as I go on the 4th August!

I will be visiting Yekaterinburg in August (just a few weeks, can't wait!!), however I've been looking for somwhere to do Horse Riding.

Would anyone know where I might do this? I'll be meeting a friend out there and they've never done horse riding before so I would like to surprise them :)

I will be back in Yekaterinburg and Neviansk April 25 through May 18. Besides the May 9 Victory Day Parade, is there anything else special going on during that time?

Yekaterinburg, hard to get a good ticket, but it will do.

There is a good chance it still seems to be snowing this year in may, they predicted that.
Also at 9 may will be Victory Day, parades near Plotinka..

I will be in Ekaterinburg for a few weeks within the next few months. Does anyone know of any nightclubs that feature live Jazz music? Also, does anyone know of any guitar shops there? Not a music store but a place where handmade guitars are made and sold. Thanks in advance.

Hi, Iґm planning a trip to Yekaterinburg later this year. Does anyone know any good web pages to study, preferably in english, with a map of the city, pictures and stuff like that? The ones I have found are all in russian.
What is the best/nicest way to go there from my home in Stockholm, Sweden? By flight, or should I perhaps fly to Moscow and then take the Transsibirean railroad from there. Any suggestions.
