We are thinking of borrowing a friends time share at the Sheraton in Cabo and going down this summer. Is June, July or August going to be a good time to go weather wise?

Cabo San Lucas Street Surfaces
Posted: Thu February 28, 2008 06:34 PM UTC
I am going to Cabo next week. I have tried to determine (never having been there) if the streets are smooth enought to skateboard/razor scooter/inline skate on. Nobody seems to know...even those who have been there.

I'm just worried that I will drag or pay to take longboard equipment, etc. down there and then not be able to use it. Does anybody out there know if there are bikepaths or even skateable smooth asphalt streets in and around Cabo. Even/especially the local streets that run throught town.

ANY information would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance!

Cabo San Lucas Rehearsal Dinner
Posted: Thu February 21, 2008 12:27 AM UTC
Hi all,
Does anyone know of a good place which can hold a group of 40 for a rehearsal dinner? I am not looking to break the bank with this dinner, that is saved for the reception. But any thing reasonably priced would be great.

Thanks

PS Does any know if Tabasco's beach club is still open?

Cabo San Lucas Fishing charter
Posted: Wed February 6, 2008 05:37 PM UTC
Hi all,
We are a family of four, two kids 13, Mom and Dad, and will be visiting Cabo mid April. Has anyone fished at this time? What would be the expected catch? Can you recommend anyone? The most important thing here is the kids have fun. A trophy would be cool but it's the kids I'd really like to see catch fish.

Cabo San Lucas Off season
Posted: Wed January 30, 2008 04:48 PM UTC
What exactly is the "off season" in Cabo? I see the hotels rates are lower then, but can't seem to find out what the off season is considered.

Thanks in advance!

Cabo San Lucas Destination for Christmas and New Years 2008
Posted: Fri January 11, 2008 01:51 AM UTC
I have not bothered to read other postings, so I apologize if this scenario/question has been asked! For the Holiday season in 2008, my Aunt and Uncle, mother, myself and husband are looking for the ideal resort in Cabo. Yes, I am planning ahead, but I like to be prepared! My problem is "suiting" everyone in the vacation party. My Aunt and Uncle are wanting high end, my mother is happy with whatever (which also means high end), my husband and I also want a nice place (we travel frequently), but not HIGH (meaning price) end. My Aunt and Uncle originally wanted to Caneel Bay in St. Johns, where travelers have to change in chinos and Polo shirts after 5:00pm. Not our idea of a great vacation. We prefer flip flops and T-shirts. So... My husband and I have always wanted to visit Cabo, so thought we had more choices to choose from to suit everyone. So with all of this said, can anyone recommend a resort to satisify everyone including the picky traveler? A resort that is classy, yet causual; a resort that has a varity of room options to suit everyone and budget; a resort that is beachfront; a resort that has great food; a resort that has a great pool area with swim-up bar; etc....HELP!!!!!!!!

Cabo San Lucas heading to Cabo this weekend
Posted: Thu January 10, 2008 02:07 PM UTC
6 adults are heading down to Cabo this weekend for 5 nights. Any suggestions on "Must-do's". We are staying in the Pedegral area. Anyone stay in this gated community before? Is it nice?
How safe are tourists in Cabo? Any major concerns should we be aware of?
Any pointers and tips would be greatly appreciated.

Cabo San Lucas Cabos vs. Puerto Vallarta
Posted: Mon January 7, 2008 07:23 AM UTC
Dear Cabo experts,

I'm desperately looking for a travel destination for a sisterly bonding week. As we are both into the beach and partying I thought either Cabo or PV would be a good choice. We are both about 30 years old and would prefer to stay clear of the gaggles of kids, college students etc. Essentially we would like to find an environment with people at least 25+. Would you happen to know which city may cater towards what we're looking for? There isn't that much information regarding this on the web. Thanks in advance,

A

Cabo San Lucas Will I Get Sick From Snorkeling???
Posted: Mon November 19, 2007 05:31 AM UTC
I've snorkeled in many beautiful areas of the world, but never Mexico. We will be in Cabo for a week and I have heard reports that the snorkeling is great at Chilean Beach...or? BUT the thing I don't understand is...if you can't even drink the local water, how can you avoid getting sick by swallowing even a little bit when snorkeling?? It sounds like that would be a sure way to get Montezuma's Revenge. Please advise asap-we are going for Thanksgiving.
PS Is it really chilly at night? Does anyone dress up for dinner?
Thanks Friends!

We will be in San Jose/Cabo area in Jan/Feb08. What is the best way to get around? Car rental-what about insurance and driver license? Apparently, taxis are expensive, what about local transit? We will be staying mainly in the Corridor area. Is crime a problem?

Cabo San Lucas Single Guys Looking for a Fun Hotel / Night life
Posted: Fri October 12, 2007 03:57 AM UTC
Situation:
Group of single guys (ages 27-31) headed to cabo either the last week of Feb or the 1st week of march. We plan on partying extremely hard, drinking a ton of beer, and hooking up with anything that walks.

Questions:
What are some fun hotels to stay at? We want to totally party in the pool / Beach by day and bars by night. Looking for a nice place not too far from the night life. We are looking for a hotel with a party atmosphere and lots of girls. Was thinking bonita rose, would love to hear suggestions.

Also what are the best clubs...

Where do the ladies hang out?

Also what is the weather like in cabo that time of year...

Thanks for any replies ...

Cabo San Lucas Fishing in Cabo San Lucas Mid-August Charter Recommendations
Posted: Mon June 25, 2007 05:15 PM UTC
I want to take my family of four on a one day trip during our August vacation. Son-22, Daughter-22, wife and I. I look at this as a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. I am looking for a well equipped boat and crew that will have a decent restroom for the ladies. I have seen cabomagic, pices and redrumcabo all recommended. Based on the comments above I would be interested in suggestions based on your experience.

Thanks,
Bumblebee

Cabo San Lucas Airport transporation
Posted: Wed May 16, 2007 09:32 PM UTC
I got an invitation from a childhood friend to join her and her parents in celebration of her parents 50th anniversary in Cabo. Large group, staying at big "che che" hotel (Rui Palace). Not my idea of a vacation but I want to celebrate w/ her family etc. Because I booked this package deal through Orbitz this overpriced hotel does not have airport shuttle service for me. From what I understand it can cost up to $100 to get there by cab. Is there any bus service or cheaper way to get to this Hotel? Thank you. (The sheer masses of people I will encounter is already making me dizzy)....
