Thank you for your excellent posts about Montmorency Falls.
My wife and I visited back in 1984, before the suspension bridge and stairs were there. I remember a walking trail that we took, leading from the top to the bottom that was not as scary (for the acrophobic -- me!) as the stairs and the cable-car look.
