| Niagara Falls | Dueling Piano bar Posted: Thu September 27, 2007 07:59 AM UTC
Are there any dueling piano type bars in the area. Even down in Buffalo would be close enough. I can't find anything online about it.

| Niagara Falls | jswallace Posted: Mon August 27, 2007 12:57 AM UTC
I am considering bring a motorcoach tour group to Niagara Falls the 3rd week in April of 2008. I have been to the Niagara Falls area in the Winter and the Fall but never in the early Spring. Is April too early to see any flowers in bloom? Is it too cold for the Maid of the MIst or Journey Behind the Falls? Thank you for your help!

| Niagara Falls | September Crowds and Bridge Traffic Posted: Mon August 20, 2007 01:34 AM UTC
We would like to make a short visit to Niagara Falls on the second Sunday in September. How crowded is the Falls area at that time? Has anyone had experience with crossing the Queenston-Lewiston Bridge in mid to late afternoon? We have some serious time constraints and the options are a short(3-4) hour visit or none at all. We'd love to see the Falls again after a 40-year interval and do The Maid of the Mist but are unsure how realistic this plan is. Also, what is the parking situation? Thanks.

| Niagara Falls | RAINBOW BRIDGE CROSSING Posted: Sat August 18, 2007 09:07 PM UTC
Hi all ! I am a British Citizen.I will be visiting Niagara Falls -Canada- in 2 weeks time.My question is this...can a British Citizen simply walk across Rainbow Bridge over to the American side for an hour or so ? Will there be lots of questions etc by security people? Will I need my passport ? Will I need a visa of some sort and will there be forms to fill in ? I want to spend just an hour or so on the American side of the Falls just so I can say that I have set foot in America ! Hope someone can answer my questions as I am having a very hard time finding out what the rules are .
Cheer and thank you.....Bob |

We are a groups of Indian students in US on F1 visa. We realize that we need a Canadian visa to view the falls from the Canadian side. We wanted to know if the Consulate at Buffalo is open on Saturdays as we will be reaching there only on Saturday (8/11/07). The requisite documents needed: 1.) Valid passport with US visa and I94 card 2.) I20 from our university 3.) Proof of enrollment in current semester 4.) 2 passport size photos 5.) Cashier's Check for $75 in the name of "“Consulate General of Canada" Can you also let us know if we missed out any documents? Thank you, Regards, Gautham. |

| Niagara Falls | A Honeymoon plan for a Saudi Arabian Friend? Posted: Tue May 29, 2007 03:57 AM UTC
Greetings:
I have a Saudi Arabian friend. He wants to come to Canada and have his honeymoon at Niagara Falls. He speaks English as a Second Language so, if he comes, I would like him to have as few problems as possible. The time period involved is very flexible. Can anyone suggest a plan for him so he can have a great vacation in Niagara Falls and in Ontario. This trip has been done a million times before so following in someone else's footprints (or copying their "footprints") is no problem. If someone could give me a day-to-day itinerary that they, or someone they knew, followed, it would be greatly appreciated. Post here or email me at: Kawkabwaheed@yahoo.com Basically, why re-invent the wheel so any suggestions are greatly appreciated. |

| Niagara Falls | Some Niagara Falls Advice Posted: Fri May 11, 2007 09:22 PM UTC
We live in Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, and will be visiting Niagara Falls, Ontario, after a gap of almost 15 years. I can't remember much except for the Maid of the Mist. Therefore, would like some advice from this forum:
1) Which is the best winery to tour on the Niagara Parkway; 2) Is the Journey behind the Falls, White Water Walk and the Butterfly Conservatory worth visiting? They are all included in the Niagara Falls and Great Gorge Pass along with Maid of the Mist and we were thinking of buying this pass; 3) What are the must see Clifton Hill attractions; 4) Is it worth going on the Niagara Skywheel; 5) Is the 3D/4D movie "Legends of the Niagara" worth seeing? and how about the Skylon Tower? Is it worth going up for the view? 6) We had been to the IMAX during our earlier visit so will be seeing it again as we know it was really worth it. 7) We will be staying at the Days Inn by the Falls, Centre Street. Is that a good hotel? 8) Are pedestrians still allowed to walk across the Rainbow Bridge? What are the attractions on the New York side? (of course we will be carrying our passports) I would also appreciate if any members of this Forum would suggest some other attractions that I don't know about. Thank you so much for your time and look forward to your input. Vilma |

| Niagara Falls | Accomodation in Niagara Falls USA side Posted: Fri April 27, 2007 05:52 PM UTC
We are planning to go by land to Niagara Falls (USA Side) from New Jersey. We planned to stay for 2 nights. We need a clean but reasonable place to stay either motel or Inn.
I did my research regarding this but it seems all the inns and motels offering reasonable prices (50-60usd a night) have bad reviews. Any info? Thanks in advance! |

| Niagara Falls | Looking for flight/travel partners Posted: Sun April 8, 2007 06:05 PM UTC
Hello all...Canadian lass here having decided to take a wee adventure on her own to Oz. Bondi Beach. A bit about me....29, live in St. Catharines Ontario, just finished up college, (social service worker). I looking to finding flight/travel partner(s) leaving from Toronto/Hamilton/Niagara area around the same time as myself. End of May! I'll be staying in hostels and hooking up with shared acc. as soon as possible. Budget traveller...so economy and multiple stop-overs is how i plan to roll. I've found that Buffalo is cheaper departure than Toronto, but I'm flexible!
